16 days and still no confirmation on the ppv buys for Floyd/Ortiz?

I told u all from my very reliable source that floyd ppv buy is around 700k-900k.

well the card had some big names on it, but no story behind any fight. canelo, morales and floyd fought relatively unknown opponents. so i doubt any more than the regular ppv buyers bought it. which probably amounts to about 1.3 as reported by some sites. i seriously doubt it would be 1.7 as predicted by schaeffer.

lmao at flomos talkin bout the Pac-Mosley #'s when Arum and fat dan already confirmed the buys within a week after the fight Ortiz floyd probably did less than 1 mill buys and 95% of the people were pissed off but only about 50% demanded a refund so it probably did less than 500k after everything

I think it's HBO strategy. I think they won't be releasing any of these PPVs by Floyd or Pac. So both won't get any leverages from these when decide to fight next year. The split should be at 50/50. So no one will say "I'll have the bigger split because I got bigger PPV from my last fight". Hopefully it is.

Who knows, and who really cares to be honest? But I do find it quite funny those same people asking for Pac vs Mosley's actual numbers aren't saying much. In the end, we don't make no $$$ off these PPVs, so you're really cheering on for another guy's financial gains. No thanks, I'll worry about my own.

Ticket sales weren't great, the fight was a disappointment by the way it ended and now ppv sales may be below expectations if rumors are true. I wonder if this will lead to Floyd getting less money for his future fights.

Had this fight netted 2mil buys, his fanboys would have been all over making threads about how he's the ppv cash cow, blah, blah, blah. Now that HBO seems reluctant to release the #'s, all of a sudden its "why are u so worried about it?" LOL. Why are you? It's not all of a sudden, I have always, ALWAYS asked that question. Whether it was for Floyd, Pac, whoever....Check my history. Why are you so worried about it? I remember when Pac fans wouldn't make threads like these. Because, they didn't care about this kind of stuff...This type of threads were only reserved for Floyd fans. But, again I don't know when it happened.
