I am starting to dislike Sergio tbh

fighting sergio at 150 is a lose-lose scenario for either Pac or floyd. should either of them win against martinez at that weight, they will most likely be discredited for fighting a weight-drained sergio. for me, its 154 or no fight at all. its actually a HUGE risk for both Pac or floyd, but if they want to add something to their legacy, next to both fighting each other, Martinez at 154 is the next best thing. (some may even consider it a greater challenge than them facing each other)

His claim of walking around at 172-174 is unlikely but might be true but only having 3.2% bodyfat? COME OFF IT! If anybody believes that they are an idiot. He's a lean guy, no doubt, he's in fantastic shape but 3.2% pmsl! That is dangerously low. PRO Bodybuilders on stage aren't that lean, or every few are. Yup, I reacted to that as soon as he was quoted saying so. He's no where near 3,2%, no fighter is.

Good for him for chasing the games best. He's not calling out little bums. He was a 154 champ as were they. I would love those fights Pac and floyd v. marquez is way worse. Marquez never won at 147. Their fans getting mad at sergio is a joke. Margarito is at least sergio's size, maybe bigger. That argument has no validity

Wow really. I think your problem is really because Barker lost. Who you hyped through the roof. But lets understand some things here. Barker fought well & real fans appreciate that because now we know who he is & he's that good. If he learns from this, he'll become better. But the facts are as such Floyd & Pacman have been champs at 154, Martinez is not asking them to fight at 160. He's asking them to fight at 154. They are supposed to be the best fighters in the game. He has every right. remember Ortiz was 1 lb less than Martinez was on fight night. if they scared that's fine, but martinez has the right to call them out. You may be right about floyd, but not pacquiao. True, both were at one time champs at 154, but Pacquiao stint at that weight was more of a test if he can slug it out with the big men at that weight. He found out he can't the hard way. He relinquished his belt, remember? He may have the right, but isn't it a little embarrassing for sergio to call out smaller men?

I dont mind seeing Pac or Floyd versus Serge and really see no reason to hate on this guys for just calling out PAC & Floyd ... who the h_ll dont want to fight either one?? but I would rather see this fight after PAC-Floyd...

Martinez is taking the route of Paul Williams did in 2010. But at least Paul Williams was tryin' to make an effort to move down on weight and fight exclusively at 147. Sergio should do the same thing. Because Pac will not be able to fight him at 154. He's already filled up at 147. While Floyd has no intentions to fight him at all. And I dont think any in this board will appreciate if it was fought at 150 catchweight either... Neither Floyd nor Pac will credit for that win.. If he wants a big money fight, he can challenge those 160 champions.. That division is loaded.

They'd say he was too old & had declined & say the Barker fight was proof. 3. They'd say he was weight drained. It's a fair risk that won't get him much respect. I know one thing, even if weight wasn't as issue, noway would Arum risk putting Pac in with Sergio. Mayweather and Pacquiao both stand an excellent chance of beating him at 154 lbs, so I don't see why Sergio should be criticised for calling them out. I just hope he understands how unrealistic those fights are for him and pursues other tough fights in the mean time. Mayweather and Pacquiao are, of course, the fastest route to the big money, but I'm sure he can still make an obscene amount without them as long as he makes fights that capture the public's imagination.
