Regardless of whether or not you disagree as to how much either guy was having their way in that fight, you should at least be able to acknowledge that it was 4 rounds of great boxing. It was better than many PPV's in fact.
Mayweather looked very impressive and Ortiz didn't have a bad showing at all. Can anyone agree with this? Or are we all just a bunch of fan boys obsessed with giving these guys Blow jobs all day?
i am of the opinion that IF ortiz DIDN'T headbutt, floyd would have still won... by KO most likely even. though i also gave ortiz the puncher's chance since he was actually a live opponent.
The KO definitely COULD have come, but it was no guarantee. I think we see this the same way though. Beyond a punchers chance he also showed pretty decent timing too. Btw, I wanted Floyd to win because of the Pac fight, so I have no favoritism toward Ortiz.
this is exactly what I was thinking. Thank god someone agrees lol.

it was indeed a great fight and floyd surprised me with how aggressive he was.
and ortiz gave it his all and actually had floyd on the ropes.
Pity the headbutt and crappy ending ruined an otherwise great fight.

it was about to turn into a good fight, but wifebeater suckerpunched ortiz and the fight ended in an anticlimatic fashion... can't say it was a great fight
A blind watchmaker?
That name goes deep.
It's actually the name of a book I like. You should check it out. If your open to having your beliefs challenged...It's not for the faint of heart.
I think we all agree the fight was getting good. Ortiz was firing back.
Yes, this is what I mean. He was a serious opponent at the very least.
It wasn't a great fight...But, you can't blame Floyd for it...He looked sharp. Ortiz ruined that fight, he just sucks, mentally weak fighter...Gino put it best, the Mexican-American version of Judah...That's what we saw Floyd-Judah II...Blah.
He IS similar to Judah. Every time he almost rises to the occasion...he doesn't. I just keep wondering what would have happened had that final sequence of events gone down. I think it was on its way to being more competitive, though I think Floyd would have won. Even though no one ever looks good against Floyd, Ortiz was looking better than most. Can anyone agree on that?

it was about to be a great fight before it ended the 4th round was fire that's why people are pissed about how it ended that fight had fight of the year feeling all over it
