pac is also a sucker to the right straight, floyd would land it all day
lets see how pac does against jmm. if he still block right straights w/ his face come november, he doesnt stand a chance against floyd imo
Castillo, DLH, and Ortiz will end up being tougher fights than Pacquiao, when ever it happens.
It would be as one sided as the Marquez fight.
The most competitive I see Pacquiao being, is like, DeMarcus Corley, or Sharmba Mitchell.
Pick your poison, Mitchell got stopped in 6. Corley didn't win a round.
And your argument for believing this is because Pac is a "midget" right?

stop pretending to be a boxing fan.
footspeed ≠ footwork.
pacquiao has shoddy footwork. throws punches off balance, lunges with punches and, couldn't cut the ring off against a shot mosley. dude looked like he was miserably trying to balance a stack of plates against marquez.
Manny doesn't have great footwork either has no Jab and to be fair he is probably easier to hit then victor Ortiz . I don't know why people give Manny more then a punchers chance against Floyd

Too bad for Floyd, Manny Pacquiao is NOT Victor Ortiz
Manny Pacquiao is not a one handed fighter.
Manny Pacquiao does not have horrible footwork.
Manny Pacquiao is not a dumbass.
Pac's got all the tools to defeat Floyd. He has the footwork, punches at different angles, excellent accurate punching, speed, lateral movement, combination punching. Floyd figures out conventional, traditional type fighters. Manny is the exact opposite of that.
To say he has no chance in hell or loses 99 out of 100 times is a ridiculous exaggeration. If Floyd wins he will have hurt Pac so much that his punch output is vastly reduced.
As far as im concerned this fight will all come down to if Pac is not hurt by Floyd's right hand. I personally cant wait to see how Pac responds to that right hand. If he walks through it or can counter with a left hook, its goodbye Floyd. He'll throw 1000 punches, even if only 20-30 percent land, that will be good enough to outwork Floyd. I think after the 4th round, we'll see Floyd revert back to his old fighting style of trying to potshot, and his output wont be enough to impress the judges. Floyd needs to hurt Pac to win this fight.
Floyd would use a range type fight.Pac will not throw 1000 punches in this fight because he will have to be close to Floyd. If Shane limited his punch output, then Floyd can.The difference is also,Floyd has made a career setting up offense on the back-foot,whereas Cotto and Shane went into survival mode.Dangerous fight for Manny imo.Pac is best off holding more catchweight fights against old or damaged guys.
Southpaws don't throw left hooks.
Pac does, more of a hooker-cut but yea, he throws it, especially to the body. Combine that with the fact that Floyd typically ducks to his right after throwing the lead-right (which would be perfect placement for a low, left-hook) when fighting southpaws (stances make it harder for him to tie up like he does vs orthodox)

Mosley will end up hurting Floyd worse than Pacquiao potentially could.
Pacquiao the off balance midget will look like a piece of crap against Floyd. The media will write it off as "Pacquiao just had an off night", "Pacquiao still GOAT".
are you insinuating that Ortiz was actually a bigger threat to floyd that Pac is because he is bigger and taller????
are you stupid?

Bold #1: You are right, Ortiz is too big to be Manny Pacquiao, not only is he big. Not only is he big, coming in at 160+ on fight nights, and powerful, he is also tall at 5' 9", not only that, but he also has longer reach than Pacquiao. All of this, helped Ortiz have the small success he had on Mayweather, which was too bully him on the ropes using his SIZE. Something Pacquiao does not have.
"But size does not matter, look at Pacquiao's previous opponents like Clottey and Margarito, he beat them easily and they were all big".
It doesn't matter how many big guys Pacquiao has beaten, still doesn't take away the fact that Floyd's toughest challenges were bigger opponents than him, To give Mayweather problems, you have to be bigger, or taller than him, or both, and, you're gonna have to pressure him, just like Castillo, DLH, and Ortiz did, notice all of them were substantially bigger than Floyd on fight night, Castillo being 147 in their LW fight, Ortiz being 164 in a 147 fight, and DLH's fight night weight was not disclosed by HBO but i'll take an educated guess and say Floyd was 150 while DLH was some where around 160-165.
Pacquiao comes in weighing in the 140s on fight night. That's already too small to give Floyd any problems. Pacquiao is 5' 6", way too short. 67 inch reach, to Floyd's 72 in ch reach, that's an insane 5 inch reach advantage, insane because of Floyd's style. With these attributes alone, I can see Floyd pulling a Klitschko on Pacquiao, dominating him for 12 rounds, using his long reach to easily counter anything Pacquiao throws. You think a 5" reach advantage won't play a part in this fight, you're dead wrong, he would pick Pacquiao apart to death from outside. Systematically breaking him down, with Pac's already off-balance style, reaching in against Mosley like that, do that to Floyd and watch him get countered to death.
Bottom line, just like in the Mayweather-Marquez fight in 2009, Mayweather's size advantage coupled with his style, will just absolutely shut Pacquiao out. Size advantage alone does not matter, size advantage+skill=impossible to beat. When you have the size advantage on Floyd, it makes it harder for him, because he'll have to beat you on skill alone. If he has the size advantage, he'll be on cruise control, basically pick you apart. Pacquiao is so small, and fighting those brawlers does not show it. Wait till he fights Floyd, you're gonna see how small and unskilled Pacquiao is, unskilled compared to Floyd of course.
It'll be a chess Grand Master vs a very good Checkers player.

I may be wrong, but i remembered that George Foreman said bigger opponents has always brought the best out of Floyd, and i think that statement was very valid in a way if you excluded the Floyd VS Baldomir fight.

I agree wholeheartedly.
manny ups his game when the opponent he is with is a threat. look at cotto.
i say floyd's chance to get manny is if he uses that speed to attack manny the way he attacked ortiz. if he lets manny go on a much higher level of the round four ortiz, he'll be finished for sure.

wrong...
if pac wants to fight wifebeater, then he has to fight jesse vargas and wifebeater's entire stable before he can fight wifebeater...
wifebeater thinks boxing is like the movie "game of death" where you have to fight your way up each level, so that by the time you get up to wifebeater, all his minons will have already taken a little bit out of you.
wifebeater is a coward.
Yea ok:lol1: Manny has the best footwork around, some of the best angles you'll ever see
Really? Then, how come he can't cutting off the ring properly without looking like an amateur? A guy with the best footwork in Boxing wouldn't need to reset his movements whenever he fight an opponent who's mobile enough to changes directions. The best angles, there's no doubt about it. He has mastered the art of throwing them effectively. But as far as having the best footwork in Boxing? that's kind of an overstatement, IMO. You can't just show one side of having good footwork, you have to show the other side of it by cutting off the ring and move in unpredictable ways just as effectively.

Watch this & see the truth in Slowmo!! Floyd already declined!! Compubox were rigged! Probably Paid by Floyd to make him look good!
after watching the ortiz/mayweather replay on hbo again, its clear to me regardless of how well floyd fought, he has clearly lost a step. he's most definitely not as fast as he use to be.
it be nice if these *******s actually fought before they're shot to **** though.
pacquiao was weight drained during marquez 2nd fight. he moved up in weight right away after that fight. also pacquiao uses his right hand now.
LOL he was weight drained? He had been fighting at that weight for some time now. He had to eat thousands upon thousands of calories to move up in weight and fight Oscar. Also he had his right hand in the second Marquez fight just not the first.
you talk as if floyd cant be hit, mosley almost KO floyd. victor landed some big shots.
pacquiao would KD floyd like he KD mosley. pacquiao would keep coming and wont tire out like mosley or judah. pacquiao wont quit like ortiz. pacquioa has iron chin and will never be in trouble of getting KD from feather fisted floyd. pacquao has the speed, angle and power to beat mayweather.
Man, I dont know. If a 35 year old Marquez could outland and give a 29 yeard old Pacquiao one of the hardest fights of his career what do you think a bigger, faster, more accurate puncher in Floyd would do? Manny doesn't do well with angles or counter right hands so I dont know how he plans to deal with Floyds counter right.
