Khan is desperately trying to get a fight with Floyd cause his afraid Floyd may pull another retirement stunt a leave him without the biggest payday of his life. Khan has nothing to loose if he looses to Floyd plus he hasn't done anything to deserve Mega Star Floyd. Khan knows his not ready that why he keeps saying he'll be ready in two or three fights but still keeps calling out Floyd. It's just retarded.
Khan has fought everyone worth fighting at 140. Bradley is a scared ho. So he doesn't count.
Who else is there for Floyd to fight realistically?
Answer that question, Amir haters.
khan isnt in it for a payday if he was no way would he have fought
zab judah.
khan is a real champ. fighting the best out there.
he belongs in the ring with mayweather more than ortiz
That should not be in the same post. Judah is a terrible example of fighting the best. Not to mention mccloskey...............:rofl:
Khan hasnt done anything close to **** to deserve a fight with Floyd. Atleast victor had a win over berto, Khans best win at this point is Zab? Be serious, he needs atleast more 2 fights against top contender before this convo even starts.
Like IronDan has said before, Berto barely has a style. He just kind of punches sometimes.
berto's ring iq is off the charts. i won't say in which direction though...
:haha:
Berto has no inside game OR outside game.
That's how much he sucks, bro.
Like IronDan has said before, Berto barely has a style. He just kind of punches sometimes.
Khan got away with it because he's bigger & kept most of the 140lbers on the outside. At welterweight there are fighters that will walk through his power & get on the inside. Besides what the fvck are you talking about Berto not having an inside game? He has 1 of the best uppercuts at welterweight & the uppercut is in fact an inside punch. Throwing an uppercut from distance is suicide. You should catch your breath spouting $hit like that. Zavek showed good inside game vs Berto, as did Ortiz.
Right cause if you throw one right hand uppercut every now and then you have an inside game :lol1:
Zavek showed good inside game vs Berto, as did Ortiz.
No ****, cause they realized Berto is a sitting duck on the inside. Are you arguing against yourself as well?
He doesn't deserve it ... yet. Roach's just using Khan to fight Floyd to see how he fares against him since Khan and Pac have similiar handspeed. H'es using to gauge how Floyd V Manny would play it out and it wouldn't be pretty
You don't know what the **** your talking about.
lol
i didn't want to go there myself but i'm glad somebody did.
i was gonna offer him a shovel so he can keep diggin that hole for himself
Wow, here comes captainsaveahoe, tell me why Khan does better against Floyd or Manny than Mike Jones would.
mike jones?
a guy who went to war with jesus soto karass?
i like jones and soto karass, but you certainly cannot be serious
mike jones has big muscles and punches harder than khan. he's also taller.
he's showed a good chin too
thats all he does better
khan is essentially already a WW.
it's all about the weights when they walk into the ring healthy
khan should be mayweather's next opponent if floyd cant fight pacquiao
we'll see how they deal with each other's handspeed.
i think khan might tactually take a round or two early
of course eventually he'll end up eating punches when he slows down and floyd adjusts
and i don't think manny and khan will ever fight, but they've sparred a boatload dude
they are very much competitive with each other
conversely?
what the hell has mike jones done to deserve a shot at floyd or manny
what does he bring to the table?
and why would you assume he will do better than a proven quantity in amir khan
its 7 lbs, dude
at the top of the game for a big guy like khan its not nearly as significant as you seem to think it is.
floyd and manny are smaller than khan
he can only make jr WW now because he's young
he'll probably finish up as a jr mw.

You don't know what the f*ck you are talking about.
So according to you;
Berto has a good inside game (:lol1:)
Jan Zaveck has a good chance of beating Floyd Mayweather (:lol1:)
And Victor Ortiz will beat Mayweather with simple pressure. Oh, but when he doesn't. The fight is fixed!!
But seriously, Berto has no inside game. None, at all.
Look at Roberto Duran if you want to see an inside game....Oh wait, he's below 160 so he can't have an inside game!
Can you imagine if a Lightweight like Duran EVER tried to fight inside against a WW like Sugar Ray Leonard?!?! He's below 160 what the hell would he be thinking!?
:dunce:

whether or not he deserves it is a question for floyd.
khan definitely doesn't have enough experience yet. he hasn't beaten all the top dogs at 140, and he hasn't fought in 147 at all. 147 is quite a significant upgrade from 140 in terms of power. everybody will be interested to see how khan's chin holds up.
the fight should happen in roughly two years, however since floyd has been running out of credible options, it will happen sooner.
khan can say whatever he wants about his chances, but he is definitely a sucker for money. and that fight will be made because of money.
All of those fighters pretty much have as useless inside games as each other.
Especially Berto, who has no inside game at all.
What does weight matter to an inside game? You're acting like small fighters don't have an inside game.
"Khan got away with not having any inside skills because he was at 140"
What does that even mean?

So what is it about then? If it's not about deserving what is it about?
Who has the best chance of winning?
If so, Bradley and Khan have much more chance than the likes of Jan Zaveck, Victor Ortiz, Andre Berto and Mike Jones.
We don't even know how Mike Jones can perform against someone higher than bum level. And even then he is struggling witht he likes of Karass.
Maybe Khan should move up and beat Henry Brusless and some other bm ranked 63rd in the weight class.
Then is he a worthy opposition?
It's about this, I asked him to explain in detail why Khan & Bradley are automatically better than any welterweight not named Floyd or Manny. I think Karass beat Jones the 1st time too.But Jones is rangy & taller than both Khan & Bradley. Since Khan doesn't fight well on the inside, he'd be stuck on the outside fighting a bigger fighter. Bradley, I actually give a fair chance of beating any welterweight not named Floyd or Manny, but I wouldn't act like it's a fact he would.
Do you genuinely feel that Amir Khan couldn't go though Mike Jones resume undefeated?
All the fighters I've named except for Jones has a better inside fight game than Khan. Berto actually started his pro career at 160. Khan got away with not having any inside fight skills because he was at 140. The bigger guys will bully his a$$ & get on the inside. Those were just examples to prove that weight matters.

Weight does matter, and would definitely be a factor for Bradley because he's small and very ripped at 140, but they are still better fighters than any of the guys at welterweight.
Berto has no inside game, so he isn't doing anything to Khan inside. None of those guys at welterweight are going to suddenly be great at running inside and bullying fighters when they don't do it to lesser fighters than Khan and Bradley right now. They may have the size to do it, but they aren't suddenly going to do it effectively against better fighters.
There you go butting in again & making stuff up. We're not debating who deserves to fight them. When it comes to Pac & Floyd, deserving has no authority. Khan or Bradley should in fact beat someone like Jones, Ortiz Zavek or Berto before they get the big boys though.
So what is it about then? If it's not about deserving what is it about?
