He is a great boxer and I'm not a Pacquiao fanatic, but from all that I've read and seen the guy is far from a class act. I can't really understand why people go crazy for the guy. When he fights I do root for him to lose (not that I expect it), but I really do believe it could be good for him. It would probably humble the guy.
If you are a huge fan of Floyd can you please enlighten to me as why you root for him with such passion?
of course not because you're a butt hurt cryin fagy pacfart :crying: :bottle: hehehhehehhehaahhahahahahahhahah
Ahhh...Bozz the bumsniffer. A man so stupid that he thinks anyone that isnt a floyd fan is a pactard.
A bigger queer, bumsniff and crybaby you will struggle to find here.:lol1:
I liked him back in the early 2000's.
It's hard to like him now considering part of him wants to be hated and part of him wants to be liked for being hated upon.
Floyd is all kinds of emotionally disturbed right now.
I dont know the guy, he is annoying as fukk to listen to and watch so I dont really watch things like 24/7 or any of the other **** that gets posted here. I dont get caught up with fighters personalities too much. Its what fighters do in the ring that matters to me, and in that regard Floyd is a brilliant boxer.

mayweathers an ignorant prick. i dont buy that he only does it to sell crap. If it was just that then he wouldnt be in trouble inbetween bouts. Dude has done so much bull to respect the man outside the ring. I see him just like his father. a young floyd sr with money and talent. a bad combination.
i find it completely hilarious to see grown ass men be emotionally affected in a negative way by what this man does on TV. this dude works double to get his paycheck, can't knock a guy down for his showmanship. floyd mayweather comes to win.
Pbf

Because money is the best
Only at certain points... Most of his post fight interviews show the real Floyd, and he's not bad....
He's far from my favorite person every though....
I think the Floyd that was aired during the Mayweather/Marquez fight was cool
I dont know Floyd the person so I cant answer that, I just know his persona that he portrays on TV and the boxer in the ring.
None of us here, unless someone here is his friend or family, knows what he is really like as a person.
Put it this way, does everybody you work with know you as a person and know you personally like your family or friends know you? Could people at your job give an accurate description of what you are like as a person? Or do they only know a certain side of you, the side that you take to work to a professional environment where your goal is to make money?
I cant answer that question because I dont know him like that!
It is true that I do not know the man personally but there are things that the man has said and done which makes me not like the man.
He calles himself "money", he talks about how money is the only reason he is in fighting. That he doesn't care what people think of him as long as he keeps making money; blah blah blah. This is something I can understand a person coming from a very poor background might be proud of but he doesn't seem to realise that for a lot of poor people who are in neighbourhoods like where he grew up saying these kind of things does not appear aspirational but more like he is rubbing it in in there faces. Other boxers who have a social conscience are the ones I can involve a personal connection with, someone like Floyd who treats the sport as a business and flaunts money in peoples faces I find it easy to detest. But thats good for his publicity and his company, so it ends up feeding him financially regardless of how we feel about him. That is until he gets beaten, possibly by a boxer with a social conscience, hmmm if only there was another boxer from humble beginings but this one maybe looking after his people in any way he could, maybe even he has big political dreams. Ah, I can't think of one.
Saw him at a Smith grocery store near my house when he was training for Marquez. Shook his hand, talked to him about his undercards for the fight and who Judah was gonna fight ( this is before they announced who his opponent was gonna be) etc etc...Called me a real boxing fan then shook my hand again. He's really different than on TV. I went back home to get my boxing gloves and drove back like crazy so he could sign them. He was at the produce section comparing bananas lmao. Anyways he signed it with no fuss. Funny though cause before he signed it he said " I'm not sure dude, I don't wanna get you boy angry" hinting that he knew i was Filipino and was refering to Pac.
Its crazy cause that same week on different days i came across Judah and Fernando Vargas at that same grocery store.
I'm sure he does appreciate his fans and is generous to those close to him. It's just the man may be his own worst enemy. It's okay to gloat if you are great, but it doesn't mean you have to make racist comments about a potential opponent, levy gay slurs at others, or burn money.
If Floyd is just acting then surely he could have found a better balance
Floyd gets frustrated that others don't appreciate him, but I mean he really can put a lot of the blame on himself.
Is this a boxing site or a dating chat room ? Why would you be a fan of a boxer as a person when you dont even know them personally ?? What a stupid thread.
Maybe "person" wasn't the best choice of words, but we do know that the guy has, for example, made racist comments. It's wrong whether he is putting up some fake persona or those are his real feelings.
Don't see why you can't understand what I'm driving at. Why root for a jerk when you don't have to? There are other talented fighters out there.
It isn't like rooting for a sports team, which is largely based on where you grow up.
I think he comes across as a total cock who needs a humbling, but then I just don't know the person and he is probably a top friend if you know him well and vert generous because he shows a lot of signs he just wants to be loved.
As a boxer he is in another world, we are all witnessing a special talent we might not see again for a long time.
I'm not so interested in Floyd the person as I am in Floyd the boxer

Don't know the guy but his persona is getting old and redundant. He tries to be the loudmouth eogmaniac but comes off as insecure and sometimes paranoid. As far as shiit-talking, it's third rate compared to guys like Prince and Ali. Its hard to believe his "Money" persona when his financial problems are so well-documented. Also his "I don't give a fukk about what other people think about me" attitude is ridiculous when its so obvious that he does care what people think about him. He's overly sensative to the point where it becomes almost funny. He creates this totally hateable character then cries about why people hate him. Its sad to see such a talented athlete have to resort to such gimmicks just in order to get attention.
MOST people who root for Mayweather are either
1. Ghetto blacks (cause Mayweather is all they have in the ghetto).
2. Wiggers or any wannabe Black that want to rebel and love Hip-Hop.
You got some that just love his technical skills/talent which is fine, but some of these fans make the DUMBEST excuses FOR ALL HIS ACTIONS OUT THE RING.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
You probably don't have a diploma.
