This will probably end up being a merge-worthy thread given how many people are going to be talking about this.
But this is the voice of a die-hard/not-wealthy boxing fan who spent $60 last night and couldn't possibly be more disappointed. I'm not mad at Ortiz or Floyd because they are both so far in the wrong with the situation that occurred.
I just want to clearly state that THERE SHOULD NOT BE A REMATCH. This whole experience has badly hurt boxing fans all over. These fights are not free, they aren't even close to a reasonable price, but as a fight fan I figure it out and I find a way to watch. If they seriously ask all of us to pay $60 AGAIN for a rematch then shame on anyone who throws money at their bullsh**. If anything a rematch will just deepen the thought in the back of my mind that the whole thing was just staged.
Floyd isn't going to fight Manny. OK, fine. I'll get over it. But don't rematch Ortiz and don't rob me anymore. I don't make enough money for this type of ****. Fight Cotto, fight Martinez, fight Berto if you're not going to fight Manny, I'll be entertained. But Manny vs. Floyd is the only one that MATTERS.
I feel the same way as Mike. If there is a rematch then it certainly should not be on PPV but I feel like it inevitably would be unfortunately. And normally I would say to put it on CBS, NBC, etc but if another incident like last night occurs then it would cause more harm than good. Such a shame.
 I bet you ordered the fight to see Floyd lose ? hahahahahaha
Absolutely great contribution to the thread.
I've been following Floyd since he dismantled Corrales. He's an incredible fighter and I've supported his career by watching pretty much all of his fights. He is an all time great and he's more than a special fighter, but what went down last night was just awful. And you can't defend the guys persona anymore. And if you like the way it happened last night then you're a straight douche bag.

I will not be ordering any more mayweather ppv, if any ppv at all... and i've been ordereing every major fight for over ten years. Never did the illegal downloading or illegal cable box thing. I actually feel the fighters should get paid. But apparently some fighters, don't think we should get to watch a fight.
Most people here won't care because they're thieving cunts and streamed the fight. But yes, I felt robbed as well (partly from the Gomez/Canelo fight also).
I also love how the first thing Floyd says in the post-fight interview was "I want to thank all the fans here and the fans who bought the PPV!"
