It's going to look really bad if Marquez retires after this fight, I don't care what the reason is. I'm not saying this is going to happen, but the easy paydays need to stop. The fact that they are acting buddy buddy doesn't help at all.
The results of pactardation dude.lol
Word in Mexico is , Marquez sold himself out for some extra mills, the contract clause is he has to stand and trade with Pacquiao so he can finally knock him out. sad but we'll know come fight night if it's true. that's why not to many people are interested in seeing a legend have to sell himself out in order to retire.
:rofl::rofl: @ the contract clause...GTFOH!!!!...that can't be true!!! LMAO

Why? Are you afraid that JMM wont do anything if he's in front of Pacman? How can you consider him as a legend if that's how you look at him. Those Mexicans who believes that should be ashamed of themselves. Even as a non-Mexican, I believe JMM would do a lot better than that.
did you guys forget that marquez is a warrior?
What has he been doing this whole time? Playing pattycakes?
He is older, not seriously active, and fighting super shredder. This isn't going to be the same.
Manny is fighting guys on their wayout and at a disadvantage but his fans act like Pac is ruining fighters which is why I wont buy into the hype but still even at 38 years old and bloated at Mannyweight Marquez is by far the best opponent Manny fought in his last 3 fights and you will see it on November
Isnt this EXACTLY what Flomo is doing? Going on vacations for 2 years at a time just to come back for 1 easy payday?
I think Pac is doing worse--who else should Floyd fight at welterweight, Pacquaio? Didn't we already try that?
Ortiz is the welterweight champ and top ranked in that division on everyone's list. Who is Marquez at welterweight?
Really this fight is why JMM has been hanging around in the sport so whatever happens happens this was what he wanted.
I hope he can perform as he desires, it would suck to watch him go out badly and to see him fall short badly of what he so badly desired would be sad but it is boxing and happy endings are very rare in this sport.
have you ever seen JMM fight??thats how he fights all the time
No doubt lmao
It will look bad as it will taint the epic 2 fight legacy.
I see this third fight as a brutal knockout and will be used as Pacquiao was always the better fighter.
IMO would of been better if it was left as it is.
I just hate to see the legacy of Marquez being tainted this. Pisses me off.

Marquez is nearing the end of his boxing life. He's nearing 40 & was getting hurt at lightweight. If this is his last hooray, it is what it is. He won't win, he'll probably get stopped. But the man he's fighting is supposed to be the best fighter fighting, to those ignorant to what's really going on. Another bogus ppv, another againg legend blown through.
This is what needs to stop. Anyone with retirement on their mind can't be as hungry as someone still out to make an impression on the sport, and just because they have "bad blood" doesn't nullify the "I'm retiring soon" psychology.
I don't follow...
People that are that age with retirement on their mind just aren't going to fight the same, and it doesn't matter what sport or field you are talking about.
lol nor do i . . . perhaps he's trying to imply they are "fixing" the fight or something of that nature?
Everything I said above. Not fixing, just great matchmaking on Arums part.
1. easy payday? I dont know anyone more deserving of the pacquiao lottery than marquez
This is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. Should Troy Aikmen get one last shot as QB for the Cowboys because he was a badass in 92?
2. marquez is already at retirable age, same for all fighters at their mid 30's, imho from age 30 they should be thinking/planning about/for retirement
Then Pacquaio needs to fight someone out to take his head off and really prove something. As far as Marquez is concerned he has already beaten Pacquiao, and a lot of people agree with him so it isn't like he has always been considered the guy that got his ass whooped.
3. what's wrong with buddy buddy? pac played some darts with hatton the koed him in 2
This i didn't know, lol.

:haha:
So Effin' retarded, God
smh.
JMM can still dominate the lower weight divisions I dont see why he should retire, true this is might be his biggest payday in a while but there's still big fights for him out there.
He's 38..
The only reason he's still fighting is because he wanted to get a 3rd pac fight.
JMM goal the last couple years was to get his 3rd fight with Pac and for all you know thats the main thing thats been motivating him to continue boxing its not about the money to him and you can bet hes going to going to show up and give it his all to win and if he decides to retire afterwards theres nothing wrong with that.

Go away. Its his life not yours! If he wants to retire, let him be. I know his wife and family would really be happy that he has finally left the dangerous corners of the ring.
