Honest Thoughts On Mayweather Ortiz

I haven't watched yet, how good did Floyd look in Episode 2?

I feel Mayweather will win either by late TKO due to straight right hands bouncing off Victors skull or a very very very wide UD. This will be an interesting fight, this is the first time Mayweather has fought a young, tough chanpion who has decent skills and big big power in a very long time. I hope for boxings sake Victor brutally KO's mayweather then gets rid of manny to open up the divisions and end all this catch weight bull**** championships and avoiding all fighters who possess a chance to win. Ortiz has decent power. He doesn't have big big power like a Tyson lol. He is no 1 punch knockout artist. Ortiz couldn't KO Berto, Peterson, etc. so he damn sure won't brutally Ko Floyd so you can forget about that. Also, decent skills won't beat Mayweather. You need great skills to even have a chance. Mayweather will pick Ortiz apart and stop him.

The speed bag work wasn't the problem I seen. It was the sparring against Forbes that made me concerned for Ortiz. Way too slow, and fights with his face. Floyd will KO Ortiz or make Ortiz's corner throw in the towel.

It was the speed bag work. Ortiz hits the speed bag just like me. Srong and my best speed but lol its lacking control and finess. When Floyd hit the speed bag it was with complete control great speed and greater controlled impact.hitting the speedbag better than the other guy won't win you any fights. You just need one single punch in the fight to rock the other guy and then take him out, if Ortiz can do that, then he's the winner. Of course, it's another question if Floyd will make a mistake allowing Ortiz to hit him clean, a shot Mosley did but was unable to finish Floyd of and allowed Floyd to cling for dear life for the remainder of that 2nd Rd. What's interesting is that Ortiz didn't give Berto the chance to hold but he took a step to the side and continued his assault on him.

Ortiz is fat now? Come on... It's a good fight. But I think it's a pretty easy fight for Floyd. Khan would've been a bit tougher IMO. Floyd by UD 118-110.

ortiz is slow, fat, and heavy i dont even want floyd to win but its not looking too good i see ortiz getting some good shots randomly making him buckle a bitbut its just gonna be like his last couple of fights

Ortiz has no shot is my honest feelings on this fight..Dude can't fight going backwards he has no jab,I don't even think he will be the stronger fighter in the ring on fight night..I hate to sound like I'm hating on Ortiz but he has shown me nothing technically that will give May any problems..He is going to get beat the fuuck up end of story...:popcorn:

I think the odds are about right on ortiz. he seems too green, like he is not a complete fighter he has a half-baked style based around his power which is pretty good, but then again he may have a soft chin. why is he obsessed with all this strength training? like thats really going to do anything? how much stronger does he need to get, he needs to focus on the finer points of his boxing. he isn't getting ready for an opponent who will try to overpower him, he needs to train for a hard, fast 12 rounds, be able to pace himself and absorb punches. he shouldn't be sparring some raggedy guy he can knock around, he needs big strong technical boxers as sparring partners. that and strategy should be key, but I hear none of this on 24/7, it's just him flipping tires and ****

Im just away to watch the new 24/7 now but pre watching im saying Ortiz is a Live Dog in this fight and has as good a chance as anyone at beating Floyd but Mayweather is THE best there is today and i expect him to rake Vic with right hands all night snapping his head back and busting him up before a late TKO This fight is legit tho and id love to see Ortiz pull it off, if he does he will be a MEGASTAR!!! yeah thats my feeling. i have a fantasy where ortiz beats mayweather and pacquiao and rides off into the sunset lol but 1 fight at a time.
