A few highlights from the Spanish interview with De La Hoya

I was going to make a whole translated transcript about Oscar's new Aqui y Ahora interview, but felt too lazy lol. Might do it later. Here are just a few things I thought were interesting from the interview for all my non-Spanish speaking homies out there. It's a very sincere and deep interview with Oscar, and for the first time in my opinion, was totally honest about his life. If I left anything out make sure to include it, and if I made any errors please let me know to fix it. - Admits to drinking since the age of 9, saying in family gatherings he would take a few sips of beers around relatives and would go unnoticed. - Pretty much drank throughout his whole boxing career. - Says he loved partying and would cancel or reschedule fights because of his partying, and would lie and say he was injured or any other BS excuse. - Said he would go train at 5am a few times after drinking and partying all night, but could handle it when he was in his 20's. - Claims he would take a few tequila shots literally before the fights. - Deeply affected by his mother's death and thinks his life wouldn't have had it's dark days had his mother not passed away. - Admitted to cheating on Millie, when asked how many times, he just answered "more than once" after a pause. - Confirmed that he did take those pictures of him in fishnets and women's panties, and that he was tired of lying about if for so long. - Admitted to using cocaine and says he started about a few years ago. - Contemplated suicide. - Acknowledges his children (not the ones he has with Millie) he had during the years, and says he admits he hasn't been a very good father to them but will make an effort to include them in his life from now on. - Talks about his stay in rehab (Around 5o something days) and how much it helped him, says it was hard for him to leave from there and he was getting used to being behind those walls. - Has been sober for 110 days I believe and plans to continue it. - Talked a little bit about the boxers on his stable, but nothing noteworthy, just spoke on Canelo and the upcoming Mayweather-Ortiz bout.
