Who likes Manny and Floyd?

I like both as fighters. I would root for Floyd if they fought though, I prefer his style - I enjoy the technical side of the sweet science. I like Floyd as a person (I think this arrogance and attitude is all for show), I've seen vids of the guy giving free lessons to kids AND adults and there is none of the flashy side we see when the spot light is on him, he is humble, patient and knowledgeable. I dont really know about Manny, he seems a little quiet, I dont get him, he seems like he has zero personality. I did shake his and Freddie Roach's hand once when he was in Manchester promoting the Hatton fight but he didnt really look like he fancied standing around to have a chat. Bit of a strange guy if you ask me.

I used to be fan of Floyd i like him he is very good in boxing world, but when Pacmans arrive his attitude is changed, a kind of there's a jealously, and he became quirky and a sort of coward. not i hate him ill go for Pacman. Not an over all great in skills but the most exciting to watch. I think Floyd will have a questionable record if he wont face Pacman in the ring. Floyd maybe forgotten in boxing world but not Pacman. They both with Have stigmas surrounding them if they dont fight. The steroid thing will follow manny (I dont buy that needle excuse) and the fear of loosing that 0 will follow floyd. Personally I think Floyd can beat manny but I think the risk is too high and floyd doesnt want to take the chance. Both are future hall of famers though.

They would start saying this??? They have been saying this for years already! If you put "who is the greatest boxer of all time?" to flomos it would be a landslide win for Floyd...if you put "who is the greatest heavyweight of all time" to pactards it would be a landslide win for Pac...call me a Flomo for it, but the African-Americans will be around on boxing sites long after Floyd retires/loses/whatever...I can't say the same for 99% of Pac's fanbase as soon as he retires. I think that's a big misconception. Yes Manny brought a lot of new fans. But, I think people underrated the Philippines boxing tradition. Plus they still have Donaire, we'll see what happens with Gesta. Doodie Boy Penalosa Jr as a young prospect. See how he gets moved. Who knows. A lot of guys weren't fans in the 90's. So they remember how popular Luisito Espinoza was. Granted he wasn't a HOF'er or ATG. So he didn't become an idot but he was a popular Pinoy fighter. And, a respectable fighter. And, then you have the ATG's like Pancho Villa, Flash Elorde, there's Cerefino Garcia who's a borderline HOF'er. Solid and respectable fighter like Gerry Penalosa. I never understood why people think Pinoys only have Pac. They actually have a nice boxing tradition. It's not as rich, as Mexico, Puerto Rico or U.S. But, it's not bad either. Yes Pac brought new fans and is an idol in the Philippines. But, that don't mean as soon as he leaves Pinoy fans will be gone. I mean JCC was just as big in Mexico in his peak. An idol like. Didn't mean anything though because Mexico has a boxing tradition. Same thing as the Philippines. And, again another misconception is that Floyd fans are boxing fans. Some of them are just Floyd fans. That's all they know. Again some. You just can't generalize. /rant.

I'm a Pac fan. So I guess I will be rooting for him. But, how annoying are the fan base of the winner going to be? I think I will leave boxingscene. I don't thing I will be able to take it. Floyd fans base and Pac fan base are terrible now. But, the winner, that fan base is going to be much worse. I can't even imagine. i've thought about this aswell......

i think mayweather has some daddy isues and is kid of a dikk but in the ring i enjoy him very much.... and i like pac... if they fought i would root for pac

I do...........and I'm not sure who I'd root for. i'll probably end up rooting for the underdog during the fight. not by odds but by who is losing, or showing the most heart etc

I really respect and enjoy watching them perform their craft in the ring. However, I don't "like" either of them. I dislike Floyd for his behavior, the things he says, and his lack of devotion to the fans. I dislike Pacquiao because his persona is fake, his record is almost a joke the past few years, and most of all I dislike him for the influx of Filipino boxing experts that have been spamming sites such as this for the last 3 or so years. http://avatars.plurk.com/3257747-big8.jpg
