Am the only one that is not interested in Cotto-Tony II?

Anyone who wasnt interested before is sure as hell interested now after the 24/7 buildup.. I just cant see how anyone would not want to watch this fight.. Both always go into every fight ready to bang it out.. both are true warriors and both deserve respect.. regardless of knee taking and plaster wrapping.. fuck anyone else who thinks otherwise... im not sure you can say cotto is a true warrior to be honest. at least recently anyway. a true warrior is willing to fight anybody anywhere. cotto was kicking up a fuss about how he was only willing to fight in new york and its a fcukin catchweight for his title what he demanded. so that takes a bit of the shine off of cotto being a true warrior imo.

Right. I was kinda looking at their current standing (especially Tony) and I just wasn't too interested. But after all of the stuff with the hearing and the trash talk, I'm actually ready for this fight on Saturday night. I think Miguel will pull it off for sure, I have him stopping Tony. i just take it for what it is, 2 guys that are both well passed their best.

I want to see it because somebody is getting ktfo but there is no value other than this.

Well, it's pretty typical that when two guys shave shown their best to be past them, people don't want to see them fight when they know that their next one will not be anything as close to their initial battle. The passion has gone, the fire has gone, the deter,inaction and need for battle and to win has gone. People will always watch a fight with 'names' in it, but it's like seeing Duran/Leonard III. A ridiculous, pale comparison to the fight they had in their primes. I think Margarito is much more shot than Cotto, but Cotto just isn't great to begin with (he's good, just not great) so who knows.... But yes, I'm not that interested. It might be good, but it's difficult to tell. There are many better fights on. So Gatti/Ward III wasn't as good as Gatti/Ward I? Please, for every bad triology/rematch there are just as many solid ones. I'm not saying this time will be as good as the first, it actually can't be if Cotto wants to win but the sheer emotion involved in this fight will make for great atmosphere.

Honestly, the most electrifying build up, and most satisfying main event i've seen in recent years was Marg/Cotto I, so no i don't agree with you. They might not the beast they were when they first fought, but i still feel that Marg & Cotto make for a some intense action and a good fight based on style alone. I feel you. I know it's almost meaningless at this point, both fighters are on the decline, but i wouldn't really be interested in seeing either fight anyone other then each other. Just my opinion.

He may have landed 60 or 70% of his punches, Floyd would I mean, but Marg would just be an unstoppable freight train. Mayweather/Ortiz is simply going to be a one sided snoozefest with Floyd claiming he is the best in the world because he beat a guy whose only had one twelve round fight in his career.
