he should just come in as if it was a LW fight or about 137-139 so he won't have to sacrifice his speed and obviously he won't have power at welter regardless. Manny weight about 144-145 in his welterweight fights so he shouldn't have to subject himself to Mannyweight and calling it a catchweight.
plus he has nothing to lose and that would make JMM upset legendary anybody agree?
If he came in at 137 or something like that, he wouldn't be able to take a welterweight punch the next night.
that would be true even if he does come in at 144
fool, jmm ducked manny for 4yrs. he turned down 750K for a rematch and went instead to lose in indonesia for 30K. who has JMM ever fought twice except manny?
He actually got $32.500 so you "wrong" him. I remember the messing around at that proposed return fight. Everyone was blaming his trainer Nacho Beristain for the refusal, but I think it had more to do with the inflated idea of Marquez about his own value.
He should be at least, very grateful to Bob Arum for giving him such a huge payday, and in the event of a win, a double sized purse of $10 mill plus.

He should come in around 140-142 lbs
except if your name is prescott and you begging for a rematch
That was like Vince Phillips begging KT to go around again , was to the point of sueing him lol , you would think a champion would want nothing better than to avenge a loss like that , its a big hit on a reputation if you ask me .
Ducking after you already beat the guy?
Thats not considered ducking.
A fighter coming off a win against another has no obligation to fight the other guy again
except if your name is prescott and you begging for a rematch
jmm coming in 7 lbs light for speed might not really be good for jmm in the long haul...
pac's fight plan usually is to pressure his opponents real hard from the get go to the 6th round...
and from the 7th onwards is when he really pour it on...
and jmm, in addition to speed, must also have fuel to burn...
7 lbs is 7 lbs...it is fuel and also cushion to absorb punches..
why would you think that? I don't think Manny even knocks him out at welterweight
Pacquiao laid JMM out 3 times in 1 round, and pacquiao barely knew how to use both hands effectively, now he's more experienced and knows how to use both hands well, I think at this catch weight the fight will be stopped like the cotto fight
PBF's style is all wrong for JMM no matter what the weight, and PBF is always going to be bigger and quicker than JMM. If they would have fought back at 130 or 135 it wouldn't have made a difference.
i agree. where jmm is used to counter punching, against floyd he became more of the aggressor.
Then that’s wishful thinking on your part because JMM couldn’t even put up a subpar performance against Floyd at that catch-weight what do you think this version of Pac will do at 144?
By the way, this is coming from someone who can’t stand Floyd!

Yea right, like he went to sleep the last two fights?
135, no catch, JMM still whoops that ass.
N I G G A PLZ!
You’re making it sound like JMM swept both fights on a whim, they were CLOSE not to be confused with an a s s whooping so clean your loop!
That said, if anyone thinks JMM look like warmed over sh1t in his last outing at 144 where he was ripe to be knocked out by a cautious cowardly Floyd how much more so by an offensive MONSTER in Pac at a comfortable weight?
Last time they fought JMM came in at 141 and Pac at 145.
Pac will be 148 this time. JMM fought Katsidis at 145. The weight difference will probably be less than the last time they fought.
It's JMM's age that's a bigger concern.

It wouldn’t matter if this fight held at 135 with NO catch-weights, JMM is going to sleep this time around!

He fought Diaz twice... He didn't duck manny he just wasn't happy with the deal because Manny was gonna get a lot more than he was.
As far as the thread topic goes, I think that's a good idea too. Speed against Pac is more inportant than power IMO.
if you were replying to me, i meant after the first fight. diaz fights were after the rematch.

agree but the fight is a mismatch anyway why you think manny and koncz duck JMM for 3 years?? JMM is older slow a look bad at ww
