1. Mike Tyson: I was a huge Mike Tyson fan when he was with Cus D'Amato but after Cus died he fired his whole team and went with Don Kings team.....Lost all respect after that and when Buster Douglas knocked him out I was so happy.....but now I feel sorry for him.
2. Floyd Mayweather Jr.: I was a fan of Roger "The Black Momba" Mayweather....so when Floyd Mayweather Jr. turned pro of course I was rooting for him especially when Roger was in his corner. Early in his career Floyd Jr was actually humble but now not so much now lol. I still enjoy watching him fight in the ring but the villain role is just not my thing.
3. Andre Dirrell: Watched him in the Super Six....after watching him masterfully boxed AA I was thinking to myself here is a kid with all the talent in the world than BAM his bad acting job showed he had no heart:(.
As a fan I don't blame boxers who they fight because that's what Promoters are there for.......people complain about Mayweather ducking this person or Pacquiao cherry picking this fighter. All I know is between Pacquiao and Mayweather they know exactly what there doing and that's making millions and millions of dollars. Opps went off topic there.
wasn't a big fan of Pavlik, but did like watching him when he got big
Miranda and Taylor fights were exciting
then he ducked Williams and ultimately ended up a drunk
Floyd was beast in lower weights
but he became a bitch after 2007
fuck Bradley now too, shoulda fought Khan
Pac fight coulda been later on for him
no reason to not fight Khan presently
Alexander in the Bradley fight--I was really disappointed in him.
Shane Mosley after the Pac fight: I honestly don't believe he tried at all. The only thing he came for was a paycheck. Pac would have won regardless but he wasn't fighting with any spirit.
Edwin Valero: I had forgotten about him until someone mentioned it. What a worthless human being. He should be erased from boxing history.
Were you a Tyson fan VERY early in his career? Because Cus died when Tyson had only a dozen pro fights and was still an up-and-comer.
My #1 fighter that I used to like but ended up detesting is Antonio Margarito.
Yes I started following Tyson when he got his first pro fight on tv.....I still remember when Tyson won his first world title but Cus already past away. I remember reading an article where Cus told Tyson to stay away from Don King. Did he listen? Nope and now he'a broke. Looks like Bob Arum is the new Don King.
Bradley.. for his present day fear of Khan
Floyd.. for he retiring everytime there's a challenge waiting. i dont care about the flashy cockiness b/c i dont see nothing wrong with **** talking.
Zab.. and i shouldve known not to pick his ass against for the same reason i turned
Ike Ibaebuchi is the only one that comes to mind, I thought he was awesome but he was sadly insane in a very dangerous way and am quite glad he is in prison.

if andre dirrell was acting he's not only deserving of an oscar he's got the best chin in the sport
he was on his knees and looking at the ref and honest abraham hit him on the jaw with a sunday punch
that punch could have killed somebody
if you lined up some accountant and smashed him with that thing while he was on his knees it would be all over
Yes I agree AA hit him while Dirrell was down but the punch wasn't hard enough to make Dirrell do the stinky leg

who wouldn't fight 'scared' if they knew their chin wasn't good? especially in the HW division. Anyone with a quarter brain would do the same. Quite the contrary, he would waste his talent if he were to fight recklessly because he would get KO'd which means he wouldn't be able to consistently dominate the HW division over the years.
He's wasting his abilities by fighting scared instead of using his skills and natural advantages in size and athleticism. This doesn't make him a bad fighter, just terribly boring.
Sugar Ray Leonard I guess. Not so much me disliking him as me now liking some of his opponents more.
I prefer Hearns, Hagler and Benitez now.
Mike Tyson - Hated him as a fighter (bad press over here, wanted Lewis to beat him so bad for so long). After he retired and I watched the Tyson doc and felt really sorry for the dude. I now love the guy to bits now. Love listening to what he says. Feck I even watched that pigeon program and loved it lol
Same here! He's precious now.

Prince Naseem - My 1st real love in boxing but the BS outside the ring, not coming back after the defeat and then wrecking that guys life in a car crash. I had some hate for the guy for a long time but now look back on his fights and just smile. So he's gone from hero to zero to overall respect for the sheer entertainment he provided.
Shane Mosley: I grew up watching this dude, loved his fights. Then the whole BALCO thing happened and he said he didn't know what he was taking. C'mon son, you just gonna inject something into your body and you don't know what it is!? He lost me with that crap man.
De La Hoya- dont know why i started to dislike him
Maybe because he was a rich a** boxer but never won any of the major fights he was in??
That is a good enough reasons to hate for me.....(although I didn't mind him as a fighter).
Oh i also sat spellbound when Amir fought in the olympics in 04. He sure seemed special, and still is to a degree.
I just think his personality is a bit lame. Kind of like De la hoya just not quite as big of an *******.
I do think he seems to be maturing a little though. So theres still hopes.
I went from a huge Floyd fan, to a fan who respects his talent and enjoys watching him fight, but doesnt really like him. After he dismantled Ndou I had high hopes, but most of his fights since then have been no hopers. Im glad to see him in there against a strong young WW in Ortiz though and if he fights Khan next I may be back on the bandwagon.
De la hoya: Was a big fan pre- internet days. Liked how he fought in the ring. Got embarrassed with him runnin vs. tito, and the more contact i got with his persona outside the ring the lamer i thought he was.
Pac: Can't really stand the whole pacmania that occurred. Admittedly did not know about him until i saw him on the Catillejo vs. oscar card. Was a fan ever since.
Those are probably the two I've turned on the most. From a relatively big fan to often rooting against them.
Floyd Mayweather Jr: When he first started he was a very humble person he could hold an interview without being cocky and talking in 3rd person, once he won a few matches he became what he is now and got worse through the years. I lost all respect for him as a person but still will say he has skill and is a very talented fighter.
