i read an article about it, but im pretty sure there is no footage of it, hang on ill see if i can find it.
This is the one i read

it says there is a video of it. But if it happened like they said it did in that article I would think it would be all over the internet
Thanks bro. That's pretty much how it was told to me. Pele said he KO'd him clean with a heel kick to the chin but as we both had a drink in us I was a bit unsure about whether he was just bull5hitting me.
Off point, but while I was in the UK last year, I met a guy called Pele Reid who claimed he had knocked out Vitali in a kickboxing bout. He had plenty of evidence to back up his claim of being a top level kickboxer, but I couldn't find anything about him KO'ing Big Vit. Does anyone have any footage or an article confirming it?

Funny how Lewis wasn't "old ass" the year previous when he beat up Tyson. Then he was "prime Lennox" and Tyson was "old ass."
Vitali has the best chin in heavyweight history. He's never been officially knocked down, much less out. It's not even close.

Currently I'm unsure, Agbeko has a very nice chin.
For the people arguing about Vitali and Chuvalo on who has the greatest chin, I'll see you both and raise one Oliver McCall
Tua should be on the list too, I thought he'd be mentioned more. Tua and Vitali have iron chins.
He did get dropped by Barret a year ago or so but i'd overlook that and agree with you.
Vitali has a solid chin, but Sanders did rock him.
Froch also has a solid chin, but Taylor rocked him.
Margarito has a solid chin too but Mosley rocked him
etc etc etc
They all have good chins to be fair.
Who has eaten the most punches from EQUAL or better competition? Possibly Margarito?
But then Mosley did stop him....
tough call.
I would vote Vitali as I love him, but if he had faced 5 or 6 Lennox Lewis type guys I would vote him.
Sanders rocked Vitali while Vitali took lots of other flush shots from both Sander and Lewis.
Taylor dropped Froch and Dirrell stunned him
Margarito got KTFO
Mikkel Kessler should be in the poll. Never been down before.
Of those listed it's got to be Vitali.
Great call. Kessler's right up there, ahead of Froch or Marg in my opinion.
Kotelnyk is a good mention too, he's the only guy i can think of who has gone 12 rds with Maidana, took plenty of flush shots and was never even remotely hurt. Same with the Khan fight too actually.

Chuvalo was never knocked down in 93 fights.
He fought;
Alix2
Foreman
Frazier
Patterson
Quarry among others.
How is it not even close because Vitali never been knocked down?
The Wrath Of Red K Will Swarm Over Your Profile In Due Time.
I figure as much....but as good as he is, he doesn't need to be at the top of every single category of great boxing things.
It's a lift sad when one of his fans will put down something like this for them: Greatest chin=Pac (not Chuv etc)
Greatest defense=Pac (not Whitaker, Locche etc)
Greatest speed=Pac (not Taylor, Leonard)
Greatest jab=Pac (not Leonard, Hearns, Ali)
Greatest heart=Pac (not Ali)
Greatest counters=Pac
Greatest footwork=Pac
Greatest running ability=Pac
greatest skipping=Pac
Greatest accuracy=Pac (someone was recently quite genuine in saying that he has the best accuracy of any fighter today.....I mean, come on!)
wanking=Pac
etc etc etc.
I just don't get why his fans need to pretend he has things that 1) he either doesn't ie. good defence or 2) is not great at in comparison to those that are i.e. boxing. It's not saying he's not good, because everyone knows he is. Why make him out to be something he's not though? It's often as if they want him to be more like Mayweather with some of the ****e you see written about him "Pac has the greatest counters and defense today and his accuracy is the best!", "What? You mean like Mayweather?" "No, he's likes to fight and trade! He's willing to take one or two to get his in!", "So, he's not like Mayweather and fights with offence in mind and doesn't really use defence and counters much?" "Errrrr....he's the greatest!"
You joking right? Who has Vitali fought to determine this. Old ass Lennox Lewis dosn't count. I guess your young in the game. Research Ray Mercer, Holyfield,David Tua, Ike Beabuci, Goerge forman, Ali, Joe Frasier. those guys had chins of steel.
and exactly why does lewis not count? Did you see the bombs he connected on Vitali?
I would say this guy has the best chin in hw history.
Getting pounded into a late TKO by foreman without going down says a lot.
Edit: And with late, i mean the stoppage could have been done a lot sooner.
Vitali probably has the best chin in heavyweight history. Heavyweights punch harder so thats saying something.

LOL the thread starter blocked me from replying again to this sorry ass thread. Vitali is a joke heavyweight. If we had any of the 90s Heavyweight champs there would be no Klisch bros. Lewis was fat and did not train for that fight with Vitali, his punches did not have the speed or tork of a in prime shape Lewis. His timing and everything was off and he still allmost killed Vitali, lol
Why have you got someone like Pac, who has been knocked out, dropped numerous times, wobbled, hurt and stunned, over guys like Hopkins, Mosley, Mayweather etc who have never been knocked out or even hurt that bad. Christ, Hopkins is 803 years old and still no one can hurt him properly! Even a 26 prime champion couldn't do any more than hit him with some borderline rabbit punches to get a couple of flash KDs and he wasn't even hurt. There are guys with much better chins than Pac in boxing that aren't on that list.

Tyson Fury. He can take his own furious uppercut and not fall.
