Last week, adviser Michel Koncz (yes, he still holds the title of adviser) traveled to the Philippines to present Manny Pacquiao the contract for his third installment with Juan Manuel Marquez. That was nearly six days ago and yet, for some reason, that contract is still unsigned at the time of this writing. Evidently, word in the Philippines is that the 8-division world champion is not entirely pleased with the $20 million purse he's been guaranteed for the fight. In fact, according to a source, it was Pacquiao's new accounting firm, VisionQwest, who recommended that he turn down the initial offer.....

imho this just show how sellable the fight is ...
as much hate going around this fight, this actually will be fun to watch...
Soooo, this fight will generate more revenue than Mayweather-Ortiz....right?
Please respond.
i gotta say that $20 million is cheap for a fight as huge as this one.
the floyd/ortiz fight will make the pac/marquez 3 even bigger.
it will served as an appetizer leading to the main course.
manny got $20 million IN HIS DREAMS.
"in all my 3 billion years in boxing, i have never seen a fighter than combines the speed, power and charisma like nonito donaire.. he stands alone"
exactly!!!

this.... this aint a true fight at the weight and we all know that...
i dont mind pac fighting.. i like watching that guy but he needs to challenge himself... no more corpses pls!
I wouldn't exactly call Juan Manuel Márquez a corpse. He's, at the very least, the most deserving fighter out there to fight Pacquiao (barring Martínez and Mayweather). Neither Mosley, nor Margarito, nor Clottey deserved their fights with Pacquiao.
And I hate to use this for a fighter, but if we're going to say corpses, the only ones that have given corpse-like performances were DLH and Mosley. They didn't do absolutely anything to Pacquiao, got beaten up, and were afraid to engage. Díaz at least engaged, as did Hatton, as did Cotto. Clottey at least gave Pacquiao some slight swelling with how little he threw, Margarito was a madman going right into the blades of a helicopter...
Márquez hasn't lost to ANYONE except Pacquiao and Mayweather in the last +3 years.

Sooooo, a question for Pactardia:
When people (ahem, FLOYD) were saying that Manny was getting f*cked with no vaseline, and that Floyd was making way more money than Manny, you guys were VEHEMENTLY denying it.
So, now that the company that Manny hired is saying it, what is your story?
