*if Jerry Roth scored the last round to De La Hoya the bout would have been ruled a draw. Jerry Roth was also the ONLY judge to score it for Mayweather in the 12th and final round.
I think you are a good poster, so this shocks me.
happens sometimes if ur swayed by emotions/crowd or if ur just watching the actions of one fighter.
but even if u scored it that way live, ive watched the fight about 4 or 5 times, theres no way u can give dlh more than 5 rounds.
Their bank accounts.
The better question would be who won both of the Mayweather-Castillo fights. Castillo outlanded Mayweather in both fights. Everyone knows Mayweather beat De La hoya, thats not even a question you should be asking.
no seriously thats what it reminded me of
Respectfully, the fight wasn't even close IMO. If floyd is fighting anyone other than ODH he wins by 7 or 8 pts.
Have you watched this entire fight?
Loving the 'Have you watched the fight' question' :lol1:
I had it 116-112 for Mayweather by the way.

De La Hoya Mayweather reminded me of Vitali Klitschko vs Kevin Johnson and Oscar being Vitali and Floyd being Johnson.
seriously, dude?? lol. comment of the thread.
That's such a cop out...if that were the case, you wouldn't have crap like P-Will winning this week or Chavez getting a draw with Whitaker, or Tito beating Oscar, or even Castillo Floyd I...i can go on and on. Its obvious personal judgement is detrimental to how fights are scored. Don't be so naive in thinking that there is a set formula for scoring a fight. BTW, neither landed anything punishing during that sleeper fest.
Oh don't mistake what I said for judges actually following the rules cause like you said its quite clear that the judges don't which is wrong. There is actually set rules for scoring a fight, are they always followed we can clearly see that they are not.
That is where you go wrong. When there are rules in place on how to score a fight your opinion doesn't matter. That is why rules are in place because of opinions and emotions. The rules take those things out of the equation. You get points for affective aggression De la Hoya agrression was not effective. You get points for clean punching not devastating punching. See this is what I am talking about.
