Looks like Ramos slowed himself down falling which makes this KO looks suspect.
First non stupid. Congrats. It is obvious he did. He acted like he was fast asleep but he stumbled back before being out. That would be a first, stumbling back, then go completely out. After so many KO's when you are KOed you either are out when the punch lands (which makes it difficult to stumble back) or you are out when your head hits the canvas which didn't happen because he stumbled back. It's a dive and a bad one too. Use to sell dumb people the idea Marquez has any kind of chance vs Pacquiao. Lets not forget this was a TOPRANK card.
The ending to both Marquez bouts were strange. No, I don't believe it was an Arum conspiracy although I wouldn't be surprised. More like Ramos saw an easy way to cash his check and went for it.
Great shot by JMM. Not a knockout though. Ramos went down in stages, usually when someone gets KO'd they drop straight to the floor.
THIS ^
The force of the punch would of sent him towards the ropes if it was a KO punch but dude had some legs still and went off to the side for an easy lay down dive. He must play soccer.
That shot Marquez landed was a good shot and it sure caused the knockdown but i feel Ramos faked the KO part.
He knew he had no chance so he faked it. It just didn't look like a legit KO to me.
It doesn't really matter anyway, it was just a stay busy fight for Marquez so he isn't rusty for when he fights Pacquiao.
Love how everyone crying foul didn't even watch a replay. You see that right hand connect, you stop questioning the KO. ¡¡WAR DINAMITA!!
I agree.....................
and the oscar goes to likar ramos for his amazing performance as a lead actor :bottle:
that ****in bum wasnt even out when he got hit. like 2 seconds later he starts to close his eyes and lay down and act like hes out. when you get hit like that on the button YOURE OUT IMMEDIATELY. you drop to the ground like a sack of ****. which is what ramos is. but he was still walking around tumbling around after getting hit, he wasnt out. im not sayin somebody paid him to take a dive (which would have been smart in his case) but he knew JMM would whip his ass so he decided to quit the first opportunity he got. he wasnt out. he was acting. he comes in, takes the check but doesnt put the work in. i hope this slob gets banned, i would have thrown a chair at this slob if i were there and paid money for the tickets
The only boxing fans who would consider this controversial are the Pac worshippers who refuse to give Marquez credit for anything and who are worried that the same thing will happen to their god. Don't worry, Pactards. After watching this video, Bob Arum will find an excuse to cancel the Marquez/Pacquaio fight because he will not allow this to happen to his cash cow until he has milked him for all he is worth.
Do you want to bet all your points with me? i'm for Pac obviously :D
Why would Bob Arum have to fix a fight between JMM, an ATG and HOFer and Likar Ramos, a guy who was billed as nothing more than a tuneup? :lol1:
The lengths people will go to with their bullsh*t :nonono:
Not everyone reacts the same to punches. Some guys are out cold but their nerves are still firing and they still throw punches, thinking they're still fighting:
Others like Ramos, lose consciousness after hitting the canvas:
He CLEARLY was caught clean on the button by Marquez and after hitting the canvass it was lights out. You could tell by the shallow breathing (the fish out of water gasping for air effect) and his rigid arms and legs that he was out because of the punch.
No one is questioning the knock down in terms of if the punch landed well or hurt Ramos. People are questioning him being knocked out cold and laying there lifeless.
^i think youre post is pretty biased.... telling by your avi and sig....gtfo
1. It's your, not you're or in this case youre
2. Just because I'm a Marquez fan who's proud to be a Marquez fan doesn't make me an idiot. A top 5 p4p guy and legend KTFOing a journeyman that everyone picked him to own doesn't sound that fishy, does it? We KNOW Marquez has power and accuracy. Ramos might have oversold it because he wanted to quit, but that was no dive.
