I keep this bs that if he was black American, he would be praised beyound all doubt....let me break it to you...it would be the complete opposite.....
Firstly, if Wlad was black American, he would not be able to sell out 60,000 stadiums.......Hopkins, who is black American, cant sell tickets in America and has a FAR better resume than Wlad....temm he, who exactly is gonna watch Wlad if he was black American
Furthermore, Larry Merchnt would HATE HIS ASS, just like he hates Mayweather...he is constantly on Mayweather for his boring performances and lack of excitment......Wlad would get just as much stick for taking too long to Ko his opponents, lack of variety in his offense etc......and spare the crap about KO ratios....Wlad probably has a higher Ko ratio than Tyson and Pacqauio, but you would never watch a Wlad fight ahead of the two afroemntioned fighter (unless your Tunney of course).....Wlad would also be held to a higher standard, based on the dominance of black/american Heavyweights of the past......IMO, many experts would say that he is not quite up to the standard of the past greats, other than his jab...
Why cant Wlad fans just accept that he is quite frankly, boring...in the same way that many fans see Mayweather as boring......
No one sells out 60,000 seat stadiums in America. Well maybe Pac.
Americans really can't let go of the profile though, they are programmed to expect a black American heavy champ. Even now, they are constantly looking in vain for the next great black American heavy.
You are right though, Wlad is doing just fine the way things are. Hopkins is a terrible example though.

LOL... you dumb@ss, do you know why Hopkins can't sell out a 60,000 seat stadium? Because he a boring racist ex-con, most of the people that buy tickets for sporting events in the US are white or middle class blacks, i.e. blacks who usually don't associate themselves with ex-cons (check out the NBA and NFL games if you want to see proof). Also Hopkins is waaay more boring than Wlad ever was or will be, one of the most boring fighters in history of boxing, his style is purely defensive and he is very negative, how many SDs and draws does he have on his record? Most of his fights go to a decision, and controvertial decisions at that, unlike most of Klitschkos fights - whose fights end in a clear KO/TKO at least 86% of the time and if not then by clear and wide UD .
White people pay to see good black athletes who are also upstanding citizens - Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods come to mind. They also pay to see anti-hero types as well - that's why Tyson was popular, but those anti-hero types have to be exciting and menacing - Popkins is neiter, sure he might have been menacing on his cell block but not in the boxing ring.
So your example is shiat, try again. Fact is, if Wlad and Vitaly were black or even white American, they would be the biggest sport story in the US, but they are neither, so they are not even covered by major networks. But as I think you know, the US is not the whole world, so they are recognized in the rest of the world
