Amir Khan is the best Light Welterweight of his time. He needs to stop fighting old, flowing out of prime legends, headbutting them! then saying WHOO I KOED BARRERA! No, you didn't khan, You headbutted an out of prime barrera, let the cut get nasty. And then walk away.
I am sick of Freddie Roach bragging him up, Judah can beat him, Judah beats Maidana, and Maidana almost bet Khan. Zab Judah might beat him, Get through your heads Freddie Roach and Amir Khan. Khan won't KO him. Without Maidana his record would look ugly. KOed in Round 1 by Bredis Prescott. lol. 2 TD wins over Marco Antonio Barrera and Paul McCloskey due to headbutts. And he can't even rematch poor Marco Maidana. Is he scared? Khan was Rocked in that fight.
I hope Zab Judah beats him, If not I really hope that Erik Morales is lucky and he beats him, which in this day and age, I doubt and if not then. Floyd Mayweather, Mike Jones, Kell Brook, Victor Ortiz or even Pacquiao will school him up there at welterweight.
Look at Khan's resume. There is still A LOT left to proof.
"Forget about the Prescott fight"----why doesn't Khan want to avenge his brutal loss? Even a stiff like Paul Williams wants to do that, same with Cotto, same with every fighter. They want to avenge their defeats. But not Amir Khan in this instance....I wonder why?
Because Prescott isn't relevant? That would be like Pacquiao taking on the guys who ko'ed him lol.
I am really not interested in Khan vs Morales. Why would Khan fight someone who lost to Maidana? Also, Khan already fought Barrera when he was way past done. No honor in the top junior welterweight fighting with Morales now. Judah is already past prime as well. Khan should seek out a better challenge.
actually no honor in maidana fighting morales at the time.
after the good fight morales gave maidana , khan fighting morales is not that bad looking.

yeah the Barrera fight pissed me off. Barrera was actually getting in the fight and wobbled Khan. If Khan got burnt out in the later rounds it could have gone ugly. That stupid cut ruined everything/
Of course he has a lot left to prove. However he's racked up a few impressive wins and he seems to have great technical and physical potential, so most believe he will go a long way. Remember that Khan is young and not hugely experienced.
I wish people would forget about the Prescott fight - he was caught by a tremendous punch and didn't recover in time, so what? It made him focus on aspects of his game that needed improving and served as a reality check. He's a better fighter for it. As for being rocked by Maidana, did you not find it impressive that the supposedly weak-chinned Khan took the best he had to offer, gritted his teeth and stuck it out until the end of the fight while doing enough to win a clear decision?
Khan is not scared of fighting anyone. It's important that he takes these fights to build up his experience so that he is ready to face fighters like Mayweather without being underprepared.
