I swear fools just join up misinformed about drug tests and throw it out there because they heard something on espn.
Pacquiao takes a drug test every single time he fights, every boxer has too.
so, "take the test" is out of the question.
What Floyd wants is Pacquiao to take further testing, just because Pacquiao is so good he doesn't believe it. Other wise, why does he suddenly think Pacquiao is using enhancements? Testing that takes place the entire time all throughout camp. Who the hell would want that, getting random blood tests just because some annoying boxer named Floyd wants you to?.
On top of that, Pacquiao weighs 1-2 lbs more than he did at LW. He just doesn't cut as much weight.
That pretty much takes steroids off the list now.
Steroids aren't even a drug that benefits boxers. Maybe heavyweights if you really want to push it, but even that I'm not so sure of. This isn't football. Most of the boxers that have been busted for PED's usually used things that really wouldn't have made much of a difference come fight night. Like things to help a boxer make weight.
Vinny Pazienza and perhaps James Toney both used steroids, they did it to get bigger I'm sure. They never looked like 149 lb Pacquiao.
Have to give a big LOL to Shane Mosley too, trying to act like the only reason he lost to Pacquiao was because of his power. Give me a break, he knew he was in Pacquiaos counter punching radar so he opted to run instead. Just like Clottey. Vernon Forrest hurt him worse than Pacquiao did, or at least the same.
Doesnt the commision handle that?
a couple of hundred grand ain't gonna stop floyd to go overweight if he wants to if he's gonna get paid 40 million.
and it wouldn't matter if floyd does what he's supposed to in the first place, which is to make weight. (that's why he agreed)
floyd asks for extra testing that is:
1. Not required to any other boxer
2. can be tested anytime (in the middle of training, etc)
3. pac thinks affect the way he performs somehow.
so i don't get this logic that 10 million weight penalty= floyd style testing
Doesnt the commision handle that?
yes.....floyd went over the agreed weight becuase he could afford the penalty....10 mil prevents him from cheating again.....it's understanble move by everyone not dumb.....
Seems to me you're very misinformed on PEDs also sir..
Hey, Victor Conte has a teitter how about you go ask him a few questions.
Oh, EPO don't make you bigger, it makes you train longer and harder.. Just one PED Manny "Could" be using.. FYI
here's conte's last stand on the issue.
For whatever claims they said about Floyd being drug testing for the Mosley fight, he was tested 19 days before the fight. Let's get real here. Floyd's saying my way or the highway, well that's BS. It's got to be a compromise and there's never going 100% (accurate test) and we need to acknowledge that and I think Manny has made an effort to compromise and move to Floyd's direction and I think Manny needs to be applauded for that.
now what? :lol1:
Show a link backing up your post?
I'm pretty sure you can't. This is just your opinion.
I can show you a link from Mr. PED himself, victor Conte that basically says something's not right with manny.
proof .....contes opinoion aint a proof given his reputation is sh1t.....
Why not fight Floyd under commison rules???no 10 million overweight penalty and changing glove sizes, let the commision handle all of that
well, floyd has cheated on the scales before, thats to prevent floyd from cheating on the scales again.......the size gloves aint a new thing mofo......
Commission testing does not always catch the different types of peds out there. Roids, HGH, peptides, blood doping, prohormones. Way too much ouit there.
How come pacman likes catchweights, different glove sizes/ring sizes etc.etc..? is he special? is he above the rules ? should he be?
commision testing is what eveyone use ...no one should be above that, period!....
you think cathweights were invented by pac?...glove size agreements?...fukk head...i can tell you this tho, floyd is the only ONE who needs OST , no one else does.....why is that?.....
it was'nt an issue til floyd made it to be....why not fight under commission testing like everyone else?.....why cant floyd do that?...is he specail?..is he above the rules?....does he need to be?...

No offense, but you may be the one who is misinformed. You should Google "Victor Conte boxing steroids". He has an interview where he explains how boxing is the perfect sport for PEDs like EPO & HGH. He says since many fights are won or lost based on how hard you train & these drugs help you train longer and harder, they can be more beneficial to boxers during training camp than in the ring.
He says many boxers will use steroids throughout training camp to train longer hours, especially to help spar more rounds than the body might usually be able to handle. Then they stop 2 weeks before the fight to clean out their system. At this point most of the hard work & sparring is over for most fighters. Then they can pass their drug tests. So the boxers who use, in Conte's estimation, aren't actually fighting on steroids. But they've benefited from better preparation that the steroids allowed.
I personally don't think Manny Pacquiao is using steroids, I just think he doesn't want to buckle to Mayweather's demands. But there are boxers using steroids during training camp and the type of system Mayweather proposes using is necessary to catch these people
i co sign this
good post

I was in the impression that Floyd trains non-stop in the gym even if there's no fight lined up for him. So you're telling me that Floyd is taking EPO as well just because he trains longer and harder?

Seems like you need to be educated bout ped's,,epo, etc etc,no 1 is talking bout bodybuilding steriods..and if it wasnt an issue why not jusrt take the same tests floyds willing to take..whays the issue??

someone give the TS on how lapse drug testing is in boxing and easy it would be to cycle and avoid anything showing up in a pre arranged blood test and random piss tests
i think random blood testing should be compulsory in boxing, hopefully it will be, many ****s have cheated the system and then years later been caught out
What do Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, and Shane Mosely have in common? - They all got caught cheating or were close to getting caught that they have no other way out but confess!!!!
These athletes routinely and randomly gave their blood samples all year round for HIV testing as required by law, and a portion of those blood samples are always stored and kept for archives by the athletic commission.. These said samples were then tested for PEDS if and when the commission have enough reason to warrant for such a test.. These is how certain athletes got caught cheating even when years have already passed.. With all the controversies surrounding Manny and Floyd about this PED thing, i'm sure the NSAC have already warranted such tests to be done on said samples, and guess what, Manny still tested negative.. Coz to me if Floyd really wanted in his heart to get rid of PED use in boxing, why not just challenge the commission to have these random blood samples to be tested for PED use and expose the cheaters... Coz right now, even if Manny eventually agreed to full OSDT and get tested negative of PEDS, you haters will just say Manny cycled out of the drug use in time for such testing, it's a no win situation for Manny...
Seems like you need to be educated bout ped's,,epo, etc etc,no 1 is talking bout bodybuilding steriods..and if it wasnt an issue why not jusrt take the same tests floyds willing to take..whays the issue??
