If he really cares about his career, he's depressed. If not, hes busy thinking about way to use his now fat bank account.

he was on the bbc news in the morning and this lil 5,4 midget sports commentator was taking the piss out of him and his toe the female presenter also jumped in and had a laugh at him he was stumbling over his words, i'm sure deep down he wanted to punch that guy, but he had to eat it up....this is the kind of motivation he will need to spit back in the faces of all who ridiculed him, this is a good thing. Depressed is probably overstating it (how depressed can u really get being worth £20 million+?) but as a sportsman and a competitor he has to be gutted at losing, and he says he is. Wlad himself said he was a 'broken man' when he lost in 2004.

I'd bet money he doesn't give a ****. a win with a broken toe would have been the beginning of his legend. the fact that he didn't go for broke should tell us he was solely concerned with his well being.

i think he does feel a bit down that's for sure. he did everything right out of the ring (excellent contractual conditions, trash talk),but in the ring he melted. boxing is his job, and we all know how bad we feel if we fail to meet the expectations at our workplace. money does help ,but i'm sure he's earned a lot before too.

The green must be cheering him up for sure but he's still a loser.

I think Haye genuinely believed he was going to win and is genuinely upset at the moment. Sure, his 10 million pound pay cheque is easing that pain. But, at the end of the day, I believe he will be mentally broken by this.

I'm sure he sitting somewhere with a box of tissues and a bag of ice on his little toe, but at least he has 15 million bucks to show for his 12 rounds of running and flopping.

depressed........... no amount of money could make up for the loss... he'll also be soul searching, if anything the loss will help him get focused and motivate him, if he wants to carry on
