Ive gone right off of Haye after last night, injury may or may not be real but if ur prepared to go into a fight with it dont use it as an excuse when u get whooped ok. All that biitching and moaning to the ref was pretty pathetic i dont like to see that shiit. Haye telegraphed every shot so obviously that my gran saw them coming and she's been dead for 5 years! So even when they connected they had been seen and thus were easy to take even for Wlad, they also lost alot of steam looping as the did and swinging up.
The delay at the start seemed really disrespectfull, keeping Lennoix wqaiting, and making him look a fool. Keeping the fans waiting in the rain and spoiling that massive production too but i guess i can see why he did it - so Wlad couldnt keep HIM waiting. Still wasnt impressed.
Klitchko was Klitchko dull as shiit but as effective as fukk. He did his thing well and did what he always does.
I watched on Sky and gave Haye 1 round two at a push but they said nover on HBO Foreman had it level late on!? What fight was he watching!!?
The security was a joke to, the fighters could have gotten hurt on the way in quite easily there, shambles. Haye goes into the biggest fight of his life looking like a little tink too, why???
I almost made the trip to Germany but i am SO Glad i never, i feel cheated and i fukkin STREAMED it!!!
Haye u have lost a fan in me and Wlad if u wanna make a fan out of me and many others LET UR FUKKIN HANDS GO!!!! :chairshot
Peace Out
Haye talks too much pre-fight and even run his mouth to the ref while fighting not his hand against Wlad.
I enjoyed all the pre fight trash talk, but u gotta back it up man.
Why is it everytime theres a MASSIVE BLOCKBUSTER like PBF vs ODH or Tyson vs Lewis or this shiit, u know when all the non boxing fans want to see it and the world is watching that the fight ends up being pump and boxing just looks wank?
I wish the casuals would tune into bouts like Gatti vs Ward or Corrales vs Castillo or even Marquez vs Diaz ect!
Haye made a prize tit of himself right from the off. Coming to the ring wrapped in tin foil with a long Muslim beard, then staggering about like a drunkard and kneeling down every couple of minutes. Then to top it off he blamed a chipped toenail for the reason Wladimir schooled him. Absolute ****ing dick head. Wladimir has been a class act from start to finish.
What a shocking fight that was last night. Haye fought like a wimp!!! He talked and talked for years about doing this to wlad yet when he entered the ring he run like a *****. He never came to fight but just to survive the 12 rounds. You could see how angry wlad was at the end in his interview. It was obvious he wanted haye to fight but instead Haye was just like ibragimov and fought to survive.
Haye wasn't in survival mode.
His game plan was obviously to make Wlad miss, and counter with big shots. Wlad didn't fall for all the trash talk though, and remained calm, and in control of himself. Haye was banking on Wlad coming out and being aggressive, and that didn't happen, thus he wasn't able to find the room to land his haymakers.
Haye had the wrong game plan, and underestimated how good Wlad is. Those were his biggest mistakes.
Hayefaker. Thought he could have done more, but he was outclassed really.
Haye has went down in my estimation anyway. I'm not sold on him at heavyweight. When I look through his resume at heavyweight, there is nothing to suggest he's much better than Chambers, Arreola, Adamek, I give these guys a legit shot against Haye.
I actually think he got it in the 12th and was trying to unload to finish it but Klitschko held on and smothered his arms. Too little, too late ultimately.
To the threadstarter, the performance was only a let-down if your expectations were high. The excuse-making at the end is what soured it for some people, but then that might be Haye's ticket to a rematch and £15mill+ so I'm not going to hate on him for that.
My expectations were high, Haye's talk didnt hurt my confidence in him either.
Its the manner of the loss tho man, the falling about the constant complaining, the excuses its just not good man. Could u see a Joe Frazier acting like that? HW boxing is dead

Haye did let you all down pretty badly. Where were all the fireworks he promised? He was too cautious throughout. And then he comes out with this pinky toe excuse, just rubbing salt in his fans wounds surely?
I dunno about that. He did hurt Wlad in the 12th.
He was looking for the bingo punch. But that's how he fights.

He only let you down if you believed that he was going to go in there and blast Klitschko out.
I expected it to be cagey for the duration of the fight, and it proved true. Haye was up against insurmountable odds, and couldn't find a way to nullify the jab, height, and reach of Klitschko. He could have let more punches go, but hey, I'm sure he did his best.
To be honest, I was impressed with a lot of Haye's work. He made Klitschko miss and showed some good slickness, even troubling with the big right on occasion. Considering I expected Haye to get knocked out within 4 rounds, he did much better than anticipated.
Haye lost to a great champion and has nothing to be ashamed of.
I totally agree with this post I knew the problems he would have in this fight, and he couldn't find the solutions. Haye is a long range fighter himself, but klitschko is better at it, and has physical advantages. I was also impressed with some of what haye did in the fight.
I do feel for him in a way, if he'd pulled out injured can u imagine the shiit he'd have gotten!?
Still if ur prepared to fight the biggest fight of ur life with it then dont use it as an excuse afterwards.
Wlad wanted that 12 round KO man, he was trying to get his A Material off and that forced Haye to let his shots go if u ask me man
Im just gutted...
I'm pretty gutted.
Especially when you see Haye after the fight. Not a scratch on him.
Maybe clutching at straws, but his best punch of the night was probably delivered in the 12th which is not really indicative of a man who had given up the ghost.
I wish he had more moments, though. And I wish he didn't get his stupid toe out.

I didnt think Klitchko was really hurt tbh
Hey remember when HW's used to FIGHT? Remember guys like Mike Tyson and Joe Frazier who werent afraid to take a risk to get there own big shots off, remember when body punching was part of HW boxing? I think im done with HW's now - James Toney had me fooled into thinking he could somehow save the division (shame on me) and then Haye pulled the wool over my eyes again and what im left with is a dull who gives a fukk division full of bums and or over cautious sissys

It's always a letdown when a fighter talks trash and then accepts defeat. It's a downright disgrace when a fighter spends TWO YEARS talking trash and accepts defeat the way Haye did.

yea he did because he didnt try to knock wlad out,he never doubled his jab to close the distance and then go for the right hand,he bottled it
saying that wlad was over two stones heavier and didnt do anything imo.....
the amount of sh1t haye was talking, the bigger man should of gone for the stoppage,he was winning the fight easy but looked sacred aswell
fukk em both, hopefully haye fukks off but i just see his interview and he wants a rematch
I think Klitschko showed how limited Haye was as a boxer. When it gets tough Haye only has a 1-2 haymaker combination he had no answers for Wlad's relentless pressure.
He flopped it and he didn't even put up a decent fight. The only thing he can be proud of is that he took Wlad's best shots and wasn't hurt in the fight, which was surprising, but it's little consolation at the end of the day.

Not really.
That's how he fights. And Klit is very hard to hit.
Haye fights like Jean Pascal with less work-rate.
He's a very good cruiserweight, and a good heavyweight.
Haye played on the pulling a bit, but Klitschko was puling and none of us know what that felt like to Haye, the referee was a little stupid though IMO.
The toe could of made a bit of a difference, when trying to push off your back foot, because when facing somebody as good and crafty as Wlad you want to be 100%.
Haye needed to throw more punches than he did, he fought Wlads fight with the jab too much IMO, he got some combinations off sometimes and stole rounds because of it... had he done it more often hed have had a lot more success I think... but when your in their with Klitschko that can be difficult I guess.
The pre fight trash talking is part & parcel, it was what HW boxing was missing, Haye through it a lifeline. The ref was shocking, don't think I've ever seen a fighter tie up so long uncontested than Wlad in the 12th. Haye could still be competitive in the division and make for some exciting fights. Props to Wlad his style is effective & the way he conducts himself makes it difficult to dislike him, Haye needs to maybe put on another stone of muscle and fight a few fights to get used to it and hopefully get another rematch.
