i knocked wlad for being a boring fighter in the past, but reaility is he is jus like bhop and mayweather. they make a good figther look lik a bum, their style isnt always fun to watch for some ppl, but they get the job done... props to wlad

It must have been frustrating for YOU to watch this fight seeing your brutha Haye so timid, reluctant to engage, constantly missing, and LOSING THE FIGHT BY SUCH A WIDE MARGIN AFTER ALL HIS TALK. He did an excellent job selling the fight. I was never a fan of his, thought someone with his charisma bravado would have been good for the division. Wlad did not look a like a HW ATG today but hey ur happy a wins a a win right LOL. I didn't make a thread after Wlad beat Chambers because he closed the show and was aggressive. But I guess thats because he wasn't in the ring with a puncher. :/

give wlad a break. all of the blame for this lackluster fight goes on haye. dude fought like a coward the entire time. wlad has had boring fights before, and he could have made some of them more entertaining for sure, but this one was completely haye's fault. anytime wlad pressed, haye ran. I don't blame either of them, to be honest. It was just down to styles. Haye was too quick to really get hit by anything big from Wlad. The one thing you can say about him if nothing else is that it was impressive the way he dodged some of Wlad's shots - you don't see heavyweights moving like that usually. He got hit a few times, but never really looked hurt. On the other side of that, Wlad's mastered the art of keeping guys at range. Almost every time Haye tried to move in (which was actually more frequent than he's being given credit for) he was left swinging at air, or got pushed to the ground. Again he got Wlad with a couple of shots, but never seriously looked like knocking him out. The end result was a fight where neither guy could really catch the other with clean shots on a regular basis. Wlad was always going to win that type of contest because he'd get rounds off the jab, but as a fight there wasn't much to it.

Wlad is a genuine p4p material and i dont believe what these haters think of him tarnishing his legacy because of his monotonous moves...i think hes one of history's best HW and rightly so only haters thinks otherwise since his not american....If hes been, hes ATG already....jeez just look at FMJ,hes one of the most boring fighters ived seen and since hes an american they will treat him as one of the ATGs and exciting!! u see the pattern?

Wlad could have tried to cut of the ring but didn't. Both these guys were all talk and didn't do anything. Another glorified sparring match Wlad's only job is to win, which he did quite comfortably.

The winners and supposedly top P4P fighters looked lackluster. Yes they won a majority of the rounds but only by a slim margin and failed to look dominant or control any aspect of the fight. I can understand Pac not solving Mosley because he is not a technician in the ring. But Wlad should have looked a lot better against Haye does not box. Rarely threw a jab and did not look to setup any combinations. After I saw Haye's strategy I was waiting for Wlad to systematically break him down like he usually does his opponents but it never came and the hardest punch of the fight was landed by Haye. I think this fight taints Wlad's legacy somewhat. I still think Vitali-Haye would have been the better fight to watch for entertainment and would have been closer in cards. Yeah the fight was boring as hell. And I thought Haye was going to bring the action in the early rounds. Even more irritating is he did something similar to what Mosley did during his Pacquiao fight-- blaming his toe & and even showing it on television. Geez.

He must be doing something right if they look good against other opponents but BUMS against him while maintaining one of the highest KO% in HW history? but nah, hes not black. If he was black and had a 60% KO he would be GOAT He needs to be like Floyd! with his 3 KO's in last 10 fights! How dare he have 8/10 KO's in his last 10 fights and title defences, he should go to decision like #1 Fighter Floyd right?
