In the light of "apparantly" david haye asking a fan to do press ups for an autograph, when you have met your fave fighters were thay what u expected or were they a complete arsehole or were they even more friendly than u could`ve thought?
Ive met a good amount but the best guy was Vinny Maddalone, just such a cool down to earth guy, even tho he looks like an ass hole
Also Paulie was cool when i met him 3 weeks ago
margarito was cool
pacquiao was really nice and did a bow
j arce was a total *******

all good people, spent the most time with calzaghe, real nice down to earth person,i was staying in the same hotel as him in manchester after the jeff lacy fight, met him next morning and he sat with us lot for about 45 mins having a laugh and talking about the fight
Met lots, Roberto Duran, Ken Buchanan, Vitali K, Briggs, Jim Watt, Earnie Shavers (Met multiple times), Zarate, Mugabi, Zamora and a few others a lone at the WBC Night of Champions in Cardiff, everyone was cool and felt comfortable talking to all of them, all gladly gave autographs and what not, Mugabi was creepily always happy and way over the top, brilliant guy and down to earth but I really didn't expect it out of him :lol1:
Meet Brian London on the regular at amateur shows and see him around every now and then, was good friends with my Uncle too. He's a nasty piece of work, real bastard until you get to know him, got quite a few stories about some of the **** he's done, not a nice guy even in his old age.
Good to talk boxing with though.
Met Mike Tyson, Tony Tucker, Tim Witherspoon and Henry Cooper when Mike was touring UK as well doing the dinner event, everyone was again great to talk too. Met a good number of others too, don't feel like listing all, these are the most recent.
Roberto Duran and Tommy Hearns were in my Hometown last year, was cool meeting them considering I hadn't met them before.
I then met Tommy Hearns again in Vegas later that year.
I'm meeting Sugar Ray Leonard in Liverpool in mid July of this year. Looking forward to that, another fighter I have yet to meet.

Judging by that list I'm assuming you're from TX?..
I wish I lived in a big fight town..
Born and Raised. I see Kirkland a lot and Vera almost every week when his in training camp.
I met Zab Judah at willcall at the Staples Center before the Zbik/Chavez fight. Real cool dude. Seemed like he was in a rush but still took a picture with me and my friend and shook our hands.
Actually when he shook my hand after the picture I said something like "Thanks alot Zab good luck with yer fight..." in a very nervous and kinda "what the **** did I just say" way.
I also saw Mikey Garcia and Rios coming into the stands to take pictures with people for a long time until a rep and security had to seperate them from their fans. I was just about to get a pic with Garcia till the security pulled him out.
Jesse James Leija, James Kirkland, Brian Vera, Omar Henry, Hasim Rahman, Floyd Mayweather Sr, Nate Jones, Juan Diaz and Ann Wolfe.
Everybody was pretty cool.
Ann Wolfe cursed me and my friends out at a amateur tournament. Im not gonna lie, it was a weird feeling being intimidated of a women.
Mayweather Sr seemed like he had very little patience and didnt give me an autograph when I asked for it. I think he was in a hurry though.
Yea SR. normally seems really chill at events.

The only boxer that I have met is Holyfield.
Evander was down to earth, signed autographs, he even sat down by in the airport and talked about his career.
all the boxers ive met have been very cool and have taken the time to shake hands, acknowledge, say whatsup, or take pics....
ive come across a bunch just goin to random fights over the years, but illjust name three active guys for now.
Zab i've met twice and both times, even if it was a crowd - he still said whats up and shook my hand - heavy hands too was surprised. and he was doin the same thing with many others
Paulie - idk what Paulie was thinkin, but he showed up as a specatator at a weigh-in and lot of ppl started to come take pics and greet him - he stopped and took flix or signed autographs with every single person it must have taken 45mins standing in same spot, I am pretty sure I would have had to stopped myself after 20mins, but he acknowledged everyone and i became a fan after seeing that.
Ortiz - i didnt bother meeting him because i would have been interrupting...but i stood by as another young fan gave him a framed pic he personally took of Vic and Ortiz was just elated. I mean u can picture hearing his voice "ohhh mann, dude, this is is awesome - where did u take this. Wow" Then they took pictures and stuff. tis was maybe two years ago at least, but he seemed very genuine to fans.
sometimes if i see a boxer i wont bother them, but i see other fans interacting and cant say anybody has looked like an a-hole to any fan.
however, Angulo i saw once and dude facial expression is mean and never changes even in real life. even when he with his family. he could be a nice guy, idk. the homie took a pic of him from a distance like he was at the zoo or something, he was scared to approach haha. i need to post that flick - angluo notices him at the last second lol
I met Abner Mares at a boxing tournament he was with his wife n kid but still was takin pix and signing autographa for the fans... He was really cool and respectful. Also Israel Vazquez was real cool dude they were both so short in real life though theyre so small haha
Arreola, Bute, Malignaggi, Berto, Pascal, Ward, Hopkins, John Duddy, Wright, Tarver. All were pretty cool (Got my pic with Arreola, real cool dude). John Duddy talked to my dad for awhile outside MSG after Cotto-Malignaggi (He's 100% Irish so he was hype haha).
You are 1 lucky bastard!! haha
I'm surprised about Bert Sugar. He partied with a group of us for hours in vegas once. He was talking **** and having a blast just like one of the guys.
He seemed in a bit of a rush so maybe that's why.
He was, very very rude, though.
