Yes he does, but I doubt it will happen. Sturm v Abraham is more likely to happen I reckon. It'll make big money in Germany, more than Sturm-Martinez, and with less risk to Sturm. Deserve has nothing to do with it does Barker deserve a match with Serg Sturm has shown no interest in fighting top level fighters so does he want to fight Martinez is a better question doesn't seem like it

I dont know much about Barker but i am going to assume Sturm has accomplished more than him so im going to say yes.

As far as "deserving" like an award or something, he certainly does. He's been a champion for years. The question should have been whether Martinez "derseves a fight with Sturm. Whether either wants the fight, is not the topic.

Deserve the fight!? LOL people he is NOT gonna take that fight. Of course he deserves it he's a champ, but he makes good money in Germany defending his title against nobodies (and even then struggles sometimes). He's not gonna fight Sergio and have his career go down the drain by getting crushed.

Yes. Alot more than Dzinzruak, Manfredo, Chavez JR and Barker did/do. I think Sturm can win rounds with his jab, Martinez is way too open and hes not as effective when hes the agressor. I think you are right, I hope so. He deserves to get that belt taken by Martinez, which is why he and Martinez should fight. It's not always about whether a guy can beat another guy. Sturm has a belt, Martinez should want it.

i cant imagine sturm getting in the ring with martinez. i think its obvious at this stage he doesnt want to fight tough oponents, just defend his title in his hometown against the weakest possible oposition. he ducked pavlik, the way he ducked abraham was plain embarassing, i think he turned down a fight with williams too and the list goes on.. martinez would destory him, sergio has his flaws but hes a real fighter. sturm is a buisness man, martinez is too big a risk for him. :****you::bryce: Felix is gonna get the fight eventually, unless prettyboy chickens out.
