Wladimir Klitschko promised to punish David Haye for 11 rounds ("Pizza face") to then finally KO him in the 12th.
Do you think Wladimir Klitschko will indeed restrain himself?
Or will he go for a KO as early as possible?
If he rocks Haye i fully expect him to finish him there and then or at least in the next round. That would be pure stupidity to let a power puncher stay in there for 12 rounds with a guy with a shakey chin just so he could "punish him". When he says punish him all he means is jab and grab him for 12 rounds.
I mean Wlad promised both things:
To KO Haye in the 12th round
To jab and grab him, since Haye claimed he won't allow Wlad to do that to him

He won't delay the KO any more than he already does.
If he gets into his rhythm and is landing that jab, he'll stick to that.
I can see him dominating the rounds, and every time he goes back to his corner, Steward will be screaming for him to get the KO before Haye lands something.
footwork is a very rough definition. haye can use footwork to either get in/out or to run. but ultimately wlad does have an advantage here, regardless.i think haye needs to rely more on some sort of a game plan and plans tend to go wrong in boxing. wlad really just has to do what he's been doing with his clinical style.
Well I dont think Wlad is going to change his style all of a sudden now, but he would need to be careful because as long as Haye is still in the ring he stands a Chance of caughting Wlad with something big.
He will fight as he always does, being careful first, using his jab a lot to wear down Haye, and when the time is right he'll KO him, most likely between round 6 and 12.
The key for Haye is footwork. If he has enough of it you won't see what you think you will. But chances are you are right.
He's not going to mess around if he can take Haye out but he'll happily chip away at Haye's chin round by round until he's ready to be shipped. That's how Wlad usually fights and he's very good at it.
Wlad would be an absolute fool to wait and try and KO Haye deliberately in round 12.
If you are facing anyone who's a big big puncher then you try and take them out as soon as possible.
I just hope this fight lives upto the hype. C'mon Haye!!
If wlad actually starts landing the jab haye wont be in any state to knock someone out in the 12th. he carries his power normally, but after getting wlad jabbed for 11 rounds?

i don't think there will even be a ko.haye might pull out if wlad becomes unbearable. i really can't imagine haye lying on the canvas in front of wlad.imagine the humiliation after all that trashtalk...
for boxing sake haye better deliver. i really wanna see 12 rounds in a hw punchout this year.
