Mayweather vs Ortiz is going to be a great fight I believe. Ortiz is a young, strong, talented fighter who is hungry to make a statement in boxing. The only thing Ortiz is lacking from this fight is experience, which comes from being around the sport for a while. I do give Ortiz a slim chance at winning this fight as I've give all his opponents in the past.
Where people go wrong is, they always look at floyds opponents and say "Floyd hasnt seen anything like this, before". I think thats the most foolish statement a person can make about any fighter who has dominated since the olympics, been champ for 21 years, 6 time world champ in 5 different weight classes.
FLoyd has seen every style there is to offer, but floyds style is the only unique on the sport. So its "Ortiz hasnt seen anything like FLoyd". I feel that Mayweather is more dangerous as he's gotten older then he was when he was younger. If you've watched his career unfold, floyd has went from boxer, to sitting down on his punches, boxing/puncher. The dude hits to hurt now.
Floyd is not a LATE STARTER...the man is putting in work during the early rounds which causes his opponents to fade in the late rounds when he is noticeably dominating. Floyd is going to put on a show come sept 17, and i wouldnt be shocked if Ortiz isnt stopped!
Every ****ing thread turns into a Flomo/Pactard mongfest at the moment ffs.
it'll be like that until the end of time. even if they punched each other at the exact same time with exact same force causing a tear through time. then a million years in the future theres gonna be some fuck bag saying "well manny got the best of him because floyd was sucked into a vacuum of space first!"

Floyd has been a champ since he was 13 years old?. In the amatuers?
Green Ortiz vs Money mayweather.......is a disgrace
Your the disgrace your opinion is less than worthless , just a whining kid that is so butt hurt by Floyd your obsessed with all things Mayweather , when he beats Pac you will be done , lol the funny part of your sorry assed story is when May Pac is actually on , Floyd fans will be excited , Pac fans like you will be sh!tting themselves .
What did Mayweather say about Pacquiao?
-"He's been knocked out before. He's been outboxed before. There's nothing I can do to him that hasn't been done before".
Well, Floyd...are you guilty of a double standard?
-Ortiz has been knocked out before. Ortiz has been defeated on the cards. And Ortiz has two draws. What could Floyd do to him that hasn't been done before?"peeleft:
a last Ortiz is young and win his last fight u know....
It should be a good fight. Hopefully, we see both fighters have to dig deep and really give the fans what they want. Skills and power. Nothing wrong with that.
Nothing wrong with your post, either. However, while Floyd might have seen any style that a fighter has to offer, it's not only about that. It's about whether or not he's seen how this person can apply it in the fight. That's what determines the result.
Sure, Ortiz might have a slugger mentality that has skills and speed. Could be a lot like some of his past opponents. However, if Ortiz puts it into play in a unique manner then it could change the outcome.
Still, I'd favor Mayweather.
To Pactards like you it is!
This is no Mosley vs. Juice Man.
NO ONE IS OLD HERE
NO STEROIDS INVOLVED... ALL NATURAL
NO CATCH WEIGHT.
Yeah.... it's a joke... silly f@g.
This post is much appreciated.

Mayweather's still pretty spectacular when faced with a live opponent - see Hatton - so Ortiz's pressure should bring us a good fight. Floyd's only dull when he doesn't need to fight.

Lets see fought two little guys any Champion can sit in the pocket a bang a smaller man. Any Champion can sit in the pocket when you have a corpse standing in front of you. Lets see who he does with someone his own wieght and young something he hasn't done in 10 years
Nothing wrong with your post, but fyi Ortiz is a 8-1 underdog.
It's still a very interesting fight seeing as Floyd has aged and is coming off a long layoff against a young hungry lion.
what does that mean? Those are just peoples opinion...underdogs win to sometimes
