You guys are most likely right. Rocky got in the damn HoF ffs. When I usually think of a HoFer I think of a guy like Trinidad or Whitaker...then I look at the actual IBHOF and...well.

If someone doesn't make it into the HOF despite being a 3 weight champion and involved in some memorable scraps and an actor gets in for portraying a fictional character (albeit memorable) then the HOF is a ****ing joke. Yes, before you open your traps and say foty and major attractions don't justify a fighters career inside the ring but moments like those are cemented in our minds and are part of boxing history and do add to a fighters legacy, like it or not. Any more major accomplishments, say a rematch victory over Margarito, or a fourth weight class title against Chavez, its in the bag for sure.

He has a chance to be the first PR fighter to win a belt in 4 different divisons not to mention, his two loses where to two very good fighters PAC and Margs with one being tainted. Loaded gloves or not that first lost will always be tainted. For all those who disagree or don't like Cotto for whatever reason all I have to say is look deeply into his record and you will see the level of opposition win loss ratio and then you will have a change of heart. Okay, let me ask you a question. Do you think Winky Wright is a HoFer and if so why?

I Believe so, and thats if he retires now. He still has time to achieve more like redemption over Margs and who knows even Pac (wishfull thinking i know) plus he can grab another ABC trinket up in a 4th weight class (more than any fighter from PR) vs Chavez
