Freddie Roach Picks David Haye To Beat Wladimir.

What people who haven't been completely turned off by Haye's cowardice in the past will make him the sentimental pick here, simply because they're bored of Wlad's dominance. But I can't see him winning this fight. Wlad doesn't take chances that expose his chin anymore. And there'll be no opportunity for a Haye KO that Wlad doesn't give to him by being sloppy.

Did he say exactly how he expected Haye to win? I'd be interested in hearing his thoughts on that, since everyone picking Haye thus far has either blabbered vaguely about speed, athleticism and power, or has posted totally nonsensical breakdowns of the fight that take into account neither of the two fighters' actual strengths and weaknesses and invest Haye with traits he doesn't possess.

Wlad is taller and longer. He's got the better jab. Haye's only chance is to be aggressive and take some shots, but then again his chin is questionable too.

He trained both a bit for a while,stated their nice guys but boring and cautious ,that he tried to teach wlad some more combinations,but wlad just wasnt down with the risk of some of them,its on a vid somewhere i think where he is showing how to do the counter left hook to the body,and said he wanted wlad to learn it,but wlad just didnt want to pick that move up at all. I know exactly which vid you're referring to. It's the one where he's got a female boxer beside him performing the moves he's teaching the viewer. The vid starts out with Roach actually hitting the speedbag in a more consistent manner than the boxer... :rofl:

I got Wlad, but I dont think itll be a blowout like alot of people think. Both fighters will be very defensive

Hayes ego must be having a big boost and massage. Haye made people believe he was confident of destroying Wlad, but might have worried people didnt believe in him, and it was only himself who had confidence. But it will please him that people have faith in him to back it up.

I think Haye will win but it is very close....
