the guy murdered his wife then committed suicide so he wouldnt have to stay in prison... f*ck him. he was just an overrated brawler anyway, any skilfull boxer would have beaten him
Valero was NOT a murderer.
He had a brain disease called CTE. It afflicts boxers and NFL players. Google CTE if you don't believe me.
I do also believe Valero had a mental condition and with his motorcycle accident and the drug taking that would seem to fit the bill. What happeend was tragic and i do believe if you dont have a mental condition and dont know what it is like to got through you should'nt really comment on Edwin.I partially blame Venezuelan authorities like how do you let someone walk out of rehab after 3 day's when they are clearly no better it's crazy.Anyway rip to both Edwin and his wife

:tool:...........
F u c k Valero. Seriously, there are so many boxers more deserving of your time & admiration than this dude. He was an exciting but untested boxer and then he punked out twice by killing his wife and taking the easy way out by killing himself. There is nothing you can say to defend his actions.
IMO it is. He would've spent the rest of his days regretting what he did, death was the easy way out.
Death is never an easy way out. Even living in bitter despair is preferable to absolute nothingness (or Hell, if you believe in that sort of thing). His regret had to have been crushingly intense for him to make such a rash decision.
He did a terrible thing, now he's gone. Passing judgements on him at this point is redundant. Personally I'd prefer to just appreciate him as a ring warrior.
the word 'Great' is used too much these days, I'm sorry to say Edwin couldve been great, he had it all. But he chose to throw it away through drugs and alcohol, and by murdering his wife.
I dont mind some boxers being bad guys, but stabbing your wife and hanging yourself whilst high as a kite off coke? No thanks
Edwin could've been great, probably would've been great, but in the end he'll be remembered as the guy with a good record who murdered his wife and then hung himself using his clothes in a police cell
Because people dont make the tribute for Valero the murderer, they make the tribute to Valero the boxer. Valero was beginning to show signs of schizophrenia he was fucked up in the head, who are we as boxing fans to judge what a fighter does outside the ring?
Yea, who are we to judge a guy who kills his wife? :stupid:
Why fcuk would someone make a tribute for a murderer.

Prison is not a greater punishment than death.
Besides, Valero was nuts.

Hek no. Tyson did time for his crime. Valero killed the mother of his two children and then *****ed out.
