Hopkins. Despite what some people think of him as a fighter......

I respect Hopkins, not many people on this planet could achive what he has achived and his discipline and mental strenght is gigantic. He has been counted out so many times, against Trinidad, against Tarver, Pavlik but still managed to come out on top. In the Pascal fight when he wen't down for the second time i was sure it was over for him but he got up and dominated Pascal for the rest of the fight. Hopkins is a great fighter.

Wow, mixed emotions here or what? I don't condone or agree with some of stuff hopkins has said...... but despite what people think of him, there's something there that I can't help but admire. A scumbag? I dunno, a racist? Maybe. Last of the old school boxing fraternity, quite possibly. Exciting fighter? I'd say no. Effective, very. ATG. Definately. He raped people in prison???? cmon with that nonsense. Look, I think Bernard needs to monitor what he says outside the ring, but he's a great fighter. Outside of Roy Jones, he definitely one of the best since 92, but, he's a jackass. He definitely went overboard with the Donovan McNabb comments.
