Without a doubt, Overeem would make more than a formidable opponent for any boxer out there in any form of fighting. A source from Klitschko's camp tells us that they were contacted by someone affiliated with K-1, a world-wide kickboxing promotion based in Japan. Overeem was brought up as a possible opponent for Klitschko in a super-fight. Klitschko's camp have verbally agreed to a possible bout in the future with Alistair Overeem. The original plan was to have the contest be a kickboxing match, but this is still under heavy negotiation. A boxing super-fight may be more likely. However, the match may not happen for quite some time as Wladimir Klitschko is scheduled to face David Haye in Hamburg, Germany on July 2nd, 2011.
