Martinez can fight Dirrel, Dirrell has no business now at the Super Six and this will be an awsome feat for Martinez, and after that he could fight Pascal or Dawson an LHW just like he wants Pacquiao to fight him, he's the p4p number 1 it will be easy for him right? Martinez nutriders

Fair points you have,
But Martinez should really try to avoid to talk about Pacquiao and he how he fights dead fighters like Mosley.
And even tough he will love to cash out versus Pacquiao or Mayweather, he will not get those fights, those guys are small welterweights.
And his only money fight is Chavez...he likes more the Chavez and Mayweather fight...
He should set an example to Pac and fight proper tests with Dirrell, Bute, Pascal, etc., because for him Pacquiao opponents are cherry picked and ready for the taking.
I think Sergio probably discusses it because he's constantly asked of it lol
Yeah, I feel you though, especially since he criticizes Pac for cherrypicking he should realize he sure as **** isn't the next cherry on the tree. My thing with Sergio is it's not like he doesn't set a good example, that fight with Dzinziruk was lose-lose really, tough fighter with no name. I think there'd be nothing wrong with him fighting them at a catchweight but not for a title, they'd be entertaining fights and probably a bit more fair
I'm not saying I want Martinez to fight Pacquiao, if you read my post like that then read it again because I actually don't want that fight because as much as it'd be cool, Sergio is too big for him. You'll note nowhere in my post did I say Pacquiao should fight Sergio, only that he had fought at SWW before and Sergio had said he wanted to fight him. The question I posed was rhetorical, seemed obvious to me but maybe you didn't pick up on that.
My point was Pac was willing to fight for a title at the Super WW division so it shouldn't be a touchy subject when bigger guys say okay, now I want to fight him there too. Martinez is just another of those guys. It's a logical progression.
Now, applying my logic to Sergio, he hasn't fought at SMW yet, right? It appears that is because he doesn't think he's big enough, hence not making the jump where he would then be called out by bigger fighters just like Pac is now. Ultimately Sergio did not 'call out' Pac, he just said he wanted to fight him. He never cried coward, etc as far as I know. If Sergio realizes/feels he's not big enough for SMW then so what if he doesn't move up? But if he does move up, and if he does win a title, I'd fully expect him to remain there and defend that title. That is why Pac's vacating of the title is an issue in my eyes. To me, if you can win it, you can and should fight to defend it. That's all, I'm not ripping Pac, that's my opinion for any fighter in any class.
As an aside, people really need to take their foot off the gas when people criticize or critique Pacquiao, or Mayweather, or "their guy." Nobody's perfect so criticism will always exist, as it should.

And his only money fight is Chavez, that's a joke, yesterday he told the reporter on Canal Space that he can fight in the SMW's but he prefers Mayweather and Chavez.
Martinez said that, that he will not have any problem doing that, but he likes more the Chavez and Mayweather fight.
So he should try to put his foot on the ground and realize he will not get those fights, Cotto will first beat Chavez and Mayweather will never fight him.
He should set an example to Pac and fight proper tests with Dirrell, Bute, Pascal, etc., because for him Pacquiao opponents are cherry picked and ready for the taking.
I love both fighters but c'mon, 168 would be suicide for Martinez especially against a guy like Dirrell. We're talking about a fighter who can make 154 still (and probably will due to lack of big fights).
Hahaha Pacquiao vacated that title, is that to difficult for you to understand?
He fought at 150 for the 154 title, he already said he will never fight at Super Welter.
If you applied your logic that Sergio is small at MW why the fvck you want Pacquiao fighting Sergio at Super Welter if Pacquiao barely does 150 lbs.
And Sergio will rehydratate to the 170's.
I really don't understand your logic trying to discredit Pac but excusing Martinez because he's a small middleweight,
And he's barely small now, he walks at 180 lbs.

Forget even May/Pac but a fight w/ JCCJr would make him more money right now than going up to fight anyone at SMW right now, especially since Ward Bute and Froch are all tied up on Showtime anyways. You just want him to move up so he'd be 20 pounds north of Pac and you wont have to worry about more and more people asking Pac why he doesn't try and make that fight.
He can dream all he wants about a fight with Chavez Jr, but he will not get that fight, Chavez will fight Cotto and after that vacate the title thanks to an injury.
Sulaiman will not let his prodigal son get near Martinez, and Mayweather and Pacquiao will not fight himjust like he doesn't fight proper tests in the SMW division.
If he wants money fights he will have to fight the canadians, Pascal and Bute, those canadians will love to have Martinez the cherry picker on their resumes, and Martinez will acomplish his dream of cashing out
;)

You're a joke bro, just stop. It's obvious that you know Martinez would beat that ass as does every person that buys into the Pac hype so you're just trying to change the argument around. Martinez wants Pac because he IS the money guy, what the **** would moving up and fighting Dirrel do for him financially? Martinez is being smart and he'll take on the winner of Ward/Bute after Ward wins the 6, there just aren't any superstars at SMW for him to move up to face until then so he's better off just building his name at MW because the more he does that over the next 1-2 years and the more Pac keeps fighting washed up, beaten up, and weight drained guys, the more people are going to push for Pac to really show what he's made of and step up and fight Sergio @ at least 154.
Hahaha look who's talking fool
Sergio will be fighting worse fighters at MW than Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez, etc.
He wants Chavez Jr. OMFG, hahaha Sergio is a joke, and if he fights Chavez it will be the biggest joke ever, Oh i can't fight Pirog because he stoled my title, i will never fight that thief, Never!.... but look Chavez also stoled my title... I WANT HIM NOW! hahahahaha fvcking hypocrite.
Pacquiao is to small to fight me.... 30 minutes later.... Pacquiao is ducking me hahahahaha
Didn't Pac win a title at 154? If you don't want to get called out at 154, don't fight at 154. Not to mention, Sergio never "called out" Pacquiao, he just said he wants to fight the best and that the best are Pac and Mayweather. He's never called them cowards or criticized them for not doing it as far as I know. He's been classy, can't blame the man for what his fans say though.
Sergio is small for a MW, I don't think he should move up and if he does move down I think it should only be after unifying MW and trying a SMW fight to test himself. I feel for the man, he's tough as nails and deserves his big payday but who knows if it'll be there for him.

Interesting, Martinez is winning the poll 30 to 29
I will just hope that he had the confidence to battle with the SMW's like his fans have of him fighting there.
Yesterday he was asked about fighting at SMW and he said that he can fight in that division without any problem,
But he prefers a fight with Chavez Jr. in October and a Mayweather fight in 1 year.

And i dont care if you give to ****s haha and who the fvck mentioned Floyd? you really need some comprehension skills puto.
Get the hell out of here and go to masturbate to some hentai, and leave the man do the talking ******

Dirrell couldn't box AA or Froch silly over 12 rds, whats makes u think he can handle a boxer like Sergio?
You obviously didn't see them fights. He outboxed AA for 10 rounds.
That is like me saying if martinez couldn't outbox paul williams and cintron sill then what makes you think he can out box dirrell
Dirrell all da way as much as I love martinez he gets beat all day by dirrell ..andre comes in fight night around 180+ and martinez is too small of a man to hurt or beat dirrell for that matter
It depends, Will Sergio Martinez submit to OSBT?
He's suspect. Suddenly gaining speed and power in his late 30's.
He already said that he would take any tests required.
I dont care what box-rec lists him as ,he's bigger than 5'10.
I was in Vegas last week and i was standing next to him and im 5'10 1/2 and he was about an inch bigger than me.
5'11 at least.
Fact.
Well you may be right then. He is far shorter than any of the SMW's he would be fighting against though.
