Mosley did the right thing by not engaging.......

im actually kinda glad that shane didn't engage...my all-time fav fighter!! i didn't want him hurt too bad..and though I may be looking through blinded eyes, I don't think shane "ran" all night. I would be lying if I said "he wasn't too defensive"; but he just can't do it anymore. He could see what he needs to do; just can't pull the trigger...He is still my guy; shane will be missed. i dont think he ran either but it was clear that he couldn't pull the trigger. shane had pac right where he wanted him. he turned pac and had him out of position and off balance all night but never threw a punch.

Can't say anybody didn't expect Shane was going to lose regardless. Not even the boxing experts were giving him a chance in hell of pulling off an upset. Gotta admit, not everybody expected Shane to throw the fi.... err... box as horribly as he did compared to his previous fights. After the knockdown, his tail went right between his legs and remained there the rest of the night.

but in the end you should sign fights to win rather than do enough to earn a payday While Shane maybe knew the odds were stacked against him at the same time he should have at least made an effort to win. Shane's best chance to win was by trying to outbox Pacquiao. At his age he wasn't going to win a brawl. Arguably Shane's best punches landed when Pac was rushing in. Shane did what he could and should retire now that he knows he just doesn't have it anymore.

That's what people need to understand, they are in a ring and Pac should have caught him if he wanted the KO. Mosley isn't obligated to stick his chin out.

You're not understanding how its almost impossible to "pull the trigger" against guys who are simply running around the ring trying to survive. At the age Mosley is....and considering how badly he performed in his last 2 matches....I can..... At the end of the day...everyone could see that Mosley cant pull the trigger anymore against May and Mora...so why fight him..... He had Mayweather dancing to Richard Simmons.

Lets face it....Mosley knew there was no way he was going to win that fight, even before the contracts were signed...... He knew Manny was getting cherrypicked over the hill fighters and saw the opportunity to fight Manny by not staying with GBP........he saw the potential earnings of over 4 million dollars and couldnt resist...... At the end of the day, Mosley is 39...and unlike Margarito.......he knew in his head that there is no fun in getting beat down and breaking orbital bones, just to "show the world Im a warrior"......the facts are that Margarito is struggling to overcome the boxing injuries sustained in the fight....... Simply put, boxers should put themselves first and care more about their health, as opposoed to this "Im a warriror, I fight to the end", while getting your face torn to pieces......Im happy that a 39 year old Mosley is able to recover quite quickly from the fight, take home millions and go home to a fine ass B!itch The ones who should be blamed for this fight is SOLELY Pacs team (Pac, Arum, Roach)...who tried to crap on Mosley after he lost to Mayweather, only to then fight him.... :lol1: Here we go and the excuses keep on falling.
