One thing in common in these 2, they are the elite welterweights at some point in Floyd weight division who has a legitimate threat to beat Floyd and so is Pac! It's common knowledge in unbiased boxing fans Floyd is coward. He used fake retirement, fake vacation, fake OST as alibi to avoid them.
If you want to feel better about yourself, you can always go to threads like these and watch the pactards and floydiots (especially, the floydiots) make themselves look stupid.
That was after the fact. Yes everyone wanted to fight Delahoya but in hindsight, Margarito scared a lot of people Floyd included. Floyd wanted an easy opponent with less risk so he took on Baldomir but he could taken Margarito because the offer there and Margarito has been calling him out. And after he is done with Margarito, Floyd could have fought Delahoya after the
Mayorga fight. You can call Floyd a smart businessmen for choosing Baldomir instead of Margarito to get to DelaHoya but do not complain if people call him COWARD for avoiding Margarito. Let me put it this way Margarito would look better for Floyd resume instead of Baldomir especially for boxing fans because that was most people wanted to see.

Even if there wasn't a split between Floyd and Arum/Top Rank, Floyd was going to fight Baldomir anyway since Zab f'd up...if he (Judah) did not, Floyd might have had one more big fight before the Oscar clash...
Well you just said it and everybody knows it.:haha:
Margarito and Cotto are many time of a threat than shot Oscar, junior welterweight Hatton and lightweight Marquez. Do the math.Does this make any sense lol... You aren't even talking about prime Oscar either lol.

If Cotto and Margarito can't over power you with size...they can't fight. Floyd never ducked inferior fighters like those two.

Get real dude, Floyd turned down the Margs fight because he wanted to fight De La Hoya and Arum said it wasn't happening. Arum offered Floyd $8 million to fight Margs and Floyd instead decided to buy out his contract. Baldomir was his next fight after that, and then he fought De La Hoya and set the all time boxing record for Pay Per View buys. So you tell me partner, if you were Floyd would you have stayed with Bob and fought Margs for $8 mill, or would you have done what Floyd did and fought De La Hoya for $25 mill? Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out homie. Thanks for coming out though:)

Floyd was still with Arum when Arum offered him the Margarito fight. Instead Floyd bought out his contract and fought Baldomir. What does that tell you that action speak louder than words.

Talk to your boy Bob Arum homie..there is a reason Floyd hasn't been in the ring with any Top Rank fighters since him and Arum split..it's not hard to recognize.

Floyd would have could have should have are just words. PAC TKO Cotto, that is real and a fact. Action speaks louder than words.

2006...
Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.
Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.
"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."
Ellerbe said Mayweather opted for the buyout so he could be "more in control of when and who he fights next. It's as simple as that. There is nothing bad between Floyd and Bob."

You got it backwards.
Pac is the one that makes excuses:
I'm scared of needles.
I'm in heavy training.
(on the Kimmel show)He's bigger than me..he has more blood:rofl:
I won't be dictated to.
Ect...ect...ect...
Pacquiao eat his dog, he is scared to fight Cotto and Margarito. If that makes you happy so be it.
*sighs*

Here is the problem with that...Many people knew then that there was no way Cotto was going to fight Floyd. Same goes for Margarito. After the Mosley/Cotto fight, what happened? A little doubleheader of sorts...which led to Margarito/Cotto. Big success for you know who. And fast forward to today, and guess what I see...Margarito/Cotto II in September...once again...

Can't clean a division when you're restricted from fighting a few within it...
All you hear are excuses from Floyd. There is no validation. Mosley fought these guys. Paul Williams fought Margarito in between. Where was FLoyd?
Thank God someone has a functioning brain and 2 eyes. I've been trying to tell these clowns Margs is one of the most overrated fighters I've ever seen. Floyd would've literally boxed circles around him and probably had one of the highest connect % in compubox history.

Lol... Ya'll will never stop with this bafoonery... Big Bad Margarito and Cotto... You forgot to add Clottey into the mix.. LMAO.. 15 punches a fight Clottey... lol. These cats are all puppies.... Floyd and Pac are the elite. These are merely tuneups for Floyd
lol oh wait.. did floyd fought them?? nahhh he ducked them u lose flomo :lol1:
Truth be told, Cotto was never a threat to Mayweather, sure he was hyped up to be a threat, but I could easily see the outcome of Mayweather out boxing Cotto all night.
Another thing, we just really don't know how much of a threat is Margarito?? Has he always sucked, has he won any fair fights, we really don't know if he beat anyone fairly, I think its sad, but technically you can go back years before he got caught and question has he been cheating.
And If he was cheating he was still losing right and left.

In May 8, Pac fought these 4 elite welterweights in a span of 1 year and few months I guess vs Floyd in 6 years?
....
exactly. and its not like he wouldnt have made a nice lil check either. cotto was going on back to back hbo ppv's with judah and mosley so ppv money would have been involved. both was unbeaten at the time, #1 and #2 in the best division at the time.

ill give u that about margarito, we dont know how good he really is/was but if floyd can fight hatton, who got rocked by collazo and then went running back down to jr welterweight after a gift decison, he could have got in there with cotto after he beat mosley.
Yea he could have, and should have, I dunno about some of these boxers, but If I was as good as they say they are, and could beat everyone so easily, I would by wiping the floor clean with my whole division.
