Five fighters suspended
A total of five fighters participating on Saturday’s boxing card at the WinStar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma, have been suspended by the Chickasaw Nation Boxing Commission for 45 days and must provide a negative drug test from a certified lab or have “failed drug test suspended pending a hearing” placed in their FightFax record. Popular Baltimore Ravens defensive back Tommy Zbikowski is among those listed. The others include heavyweight Andy Ruiz Jr., lightweight John “Action” Jackson, lightweight Terrance Roy and light heavyweight David Robinson. Most commissions normally only test fighters participating in title fights, however for Saturday night’s card they tested all the fighters.

NFL's Tom Zbikowski appeals failed drug test
Former Notre Dame and current Baltimore Ravens safety Tom Zbikowski was among five fighters suspended for failing a drug test after participating in Saturday’s boxing card at the WinStar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma, the Chicago Sun-Times has learned.
The Chickasaw Nation Boxing Commission tested fighters before Friday’s fights and has suspended those testing positive for 45 days pending a second negative drug test. The illegal drug was not immediately known.
Zbikowski’s manager, Chicago-area lawyer and boxing coach Mike Joyce, said that Zbikowski was scheduled to get a second test later today and was confident it would be negative.
“We’re appealing it,” Joyce told the Chicago Sun-Times. “After the fight, all the fighters tested were positive. They had you pee in a cup and put a strip of something in there. I’ve never seen results where you get them the day of the fight. It was like a home pregnancy test or something.”
Zbikowski, a former Buffalo Grove football star and long-time successful amateur boxer, improved his professional record to 4-0 with a first-round knockout of Blake Warner on Saturday night.
“He’s taken all sorts of tests for the NFL and he’s never tested positive --- ever,” Joyce said

I won't allow misquoted news articles no matter how mad it makes you.
Its obvious u missed the point completely! And it appears that you are the one "mad" evident by the "red Karma" you gave me for my post. lol. Thanx for supporting my original argument mod.
this website is becoming a joke. mods forbid speculation on certain subjects and closed threads to shift subject matter. all while keeping the misleading headline they cite as the reason for closing the thread. smdh!

So Bob Arum is not only a promoter, but he's also a steroid dealer now?
Talk about hustling for that dough. I bet you this is Bob's alarm:
How does this have anything at all to do with Bob Arum. Until you and I both know what happened (and we never may know), you can't blame anything on Bob Arum.
Well, 5 of his fighters failed drug tests and he's got other fighters who are suspicious........... and I don't like him.
i really hope that these dont end up being false positives ... because changes need to be made in boxing with testing. but this does seem odd so looking forward to hearing the retesting results

Thats a lot of fighters on one card. Its likely a mistake. Depending on the test, it can be very sensitive and reveal drug use that did not occur. I'm curious as to what they used.

Interesting.
I would like to know what they tested for because I mean even the straight up bums on the card tested positive.
Terrance Roy is a 10-32 fighter who has been KO'd 23 times.
David Robinson is a 26 - 64 fighter who has been KO'd 33 times.
Agreed, something sounds weird, we'll have to wait for this to develop.
