This is the reason he diddn't fight on the Cotto/Mayorga card????? What a fukin clutz!!!!!!!! 7. Joshua Clottey (35-4) The former titlist, who has not fought since losing a lopsided decision to Pacquiao in March 2010, was planning to move up to junior middleweight to fight Calvin Green (21-5-1) on the Miguel Cotto-Ricardo Mayorga card on March 12. But Clottey tripped over a pothole while running and injured his wrist and ankle, knocking him out of the fight.:loser::loser:

I see a Clottey vs Cintron matchup coming soon. Maybe it could be a co-main event on the Cotto vs Margarito card with the winners and losers squaring off afterwords. "So let it be written. So let it be done." That Cintron Clottey fight makes sense. Would be interesting as both fighters must climb out of recent obscurity

I remember readin about this when it happened. Clottey is a good fight but damnit, he's also a total clown in every which way. He should train with Zab Judah.

hhahahahahah! im not a boxer on my way to make 6 figs but i would never ever injure myself on morning runs stepping on a gawdam pothole. i wouldnt even dare step on a puddle to get my shoes dirty! hahahahah!

actually, i feel kinda sorry for clottey. its difficult as it is trying to get into a good fight, let alone an undercard. i imagine he's being very upset with himself for getting out of a fight over such a simple, totally avoidable mistake. i hope for his sake that he'd get another fight for himself soon. i highly doubt this with close to 5 million in his pockets right now.
