DAVID HAYE will be cast in the unfamiliar role of underdog when he meets Wladimir Klitschko in a world unification bout on July 2.

Haye ran shamefully from Valuev for 11+ rounds.
Haye stood still in front of the inert Audley Harrison, neither throwing punches, as even his adoring English fans rained boos on them. Eventually, after more than a round of neither "fighter" landing a single punch, the referee had to order them to engage.
Haye couldn't keep from being tagged repeatedly by the jab of old, slow John Ruiz.
After all this, we're supposed to believe he will: a) be aggressive against a much more dangerous fighter than the ones he was scared to engage; and b) evade the most effective jab in the heavyweight division.
Based on what, exactly? Haye hasn't done anything at heavyweight except pose and talk. If he doesn't land a lucky uppercut in the first 90 seconds, Haye is going to lose every round. It will be up to him if he wants to run like a girl and lose a 120-108 decision, or fight like a man and be TKOed.
Interesting fight and i wouldn't like to put on abet on who to win.
What I will say though is that this fight as HUGE potential at becoming the most boring fights in history where both fighters will claim they won regardless of the 12 round decision.
Haye doesn't take risks, neither does Wlad. They're both chiny as well.
That would be impossible. The two most boring heavyweight fights in history were Byrd-TOS and Haye-Valuev.

I see it going like this aswell. Sigh

Can't wait. The fight one of the most anticipated and intriguing fights since Lewis - Tyson.
I'm not to sure Haye will knock Wladimir out early, I believe he'll fight cautious and wait for openings. Haye isn't stupid, he knows a man with 49 KO's is dangerous and he'll have to respect Wlad.
If you think Wladimir is in any way comparable as a boxer to Valuev you are going to be very sad come fight night.
I keep seeing the English fanboys saying how Haye is going to hurt Wlad, but they never mention what happens when Wlad unloads the steelhammer on Haye's china chin. I guess they'd rather not think about that.
They don't do fifteen round fights any more.
How often does a referee actually count to ten? If a fighter is actually going to stay down for the ten count the ref usually just stops by 5 and waves the fight over.
I see Haye fighting smart and Wlad jabbing and holding a lot.
Will be very good while it lasts. I think Haye opens up on Wlad when he's got him hurt like he did against Valuev.
haha haye is also making damn sure the ringside dr. is one of the best in the world, because he's going to be the first face haye sees when he comes to after being laid out cold for 5-7 minutes. haha that ref might damn well save your life if he has mercy for you and he will stop the fight, same for the ringside dr. haye is going to get beat up so bad. i guarantee by the 3rd round he will be trying to turn it into the valuev fight. only problem is wladimir isn't PHYSICALLY DEFORMED/handicap, and he will be fast enough to follow his ***** made, hoe cake ass around the ring to batter him down.
It's actually Wlad that has requested his own doctor, i guess he's expecting to be KO'd. :lol1:
fuk right hayes winnin this one so will khan v bradley an froch super6 brit will have three undisputed champs by the end of the year and with the class in the uk right now degale cleverly walsh brook fury gavin saunders groves chisura furtre of the sport looks great from a uk point of veiw expect atleast half these to be world champs atleast
Heaven help us, what has the English Educational system fallen to. Unless English is your second or third language. But if it's your FIRST language, then I see NO HOPE for the future of Britain at all.
Just visualise a country of 62 million with 60 million illiterates............
I know they don't do 24-7's for non-PPV fights on HBO, but I would love to see them do one for this fight. Everyone knows the amount of popularity Tyson had back in the day with all of his crazy antics. Haye, outside of hardcore boxing fans, isn't well known in the US. Why not try and make him more popular in a country that loves heavyweight boxing?

LOL Haye is hilarious, I hope he can back it up. The HW division is very stale, Haye fought very cautiously against Valuev so its hard for me to envision him knocking Wladimir out.
