Would Khan of took Berto's power?

Pac don't fight guys younger than him. You will never know. Cotto was younger then Pac when they fought and now too lol.

dont agree i think berto has more power on top with accuracy, and you cant judge fighters by past fights, and khan is fast but the question is if he is able to move at the same speed once he moves up in weight would be great to see Wait you cant judge fighter by past fights? Then tell me please how do you judge a fighter? I think what you mean is you cant HATE on a fighter by just watching past fights, but you can assess a fighters strengths and weaknesses by past watching fights... that YOU CAN AND SHOULD DO. Maidana has proved he hits hard you may say Berto hits like a donkey but his past fights dont prove it.

Yeah Ortiz looks like a physical freak at 147. I'd say he stops Maidana in a rematch. He just idnt fight his fight against Maidana. Khan Im not so sure about. I think he has a tough time with a Maidana at any weight. He will have some down moments against pressure fighters for the rest of his career. At one 147 he wont have as many physical advantages as he's enjoyed at 135 and 140. Ortiz was 161 at the bell. Wow. I love Ortiz at this weight, and I think he gives anyone problems. Khan I belive has class to win belts at 147 and 154. I think his best weight will also be at 147, his speed, power and punch resistance will increase along with the weight. Maidana is on the slide and I dont feel he has the skill to keep up with the rest of the 140 pack. Khan can stop Maidana at 147, no doubt about it.

As Ive said many times ,I attribute that to Vic being young and straight getting intimidated. It wasnt a chin issue but more of a confidence thing. Khan has a real issue with his equilibrium. Those shots from Berto would have put him out. Argue all you want but we know it. Maidana would floor neither Khan nor Ortiz at 147. The weight was not a good weight for Ortiz.

Trust me if Maidana can land those bombs on Khan, Berto can land some big shots. Maidana and Berto are 2 different fighters with 2 different styles, who has Berto stopped that is worth noting? Maidana has stopepd Ortiz and nearly stopped Khan, correct? Maidana hits harder than Berto and has an underrated overhand right. Khan can only improve with the weight jump the fight wouldnt be at 140 it would at 147, Khan comes in possibly stronger and faster than Berto. we have to consider Khans size here, I mean I dont know how much longer he stays at the weight... or if its hurting him ever so slightly to cut to get to 140 in the first place.

Khan did say that he wants to unify the division but he also said recently that he plans on moving to welter... In his last two fights he has been nothing short of spectacular. He had gassed out in his fight against Maidana because of how hard he fought early on, which was a mistake. He got overanxious after that first round. And in his last fight with McCloskey I do not see how you can use that fight as a gauge to say he isn't as good as you thought he was. The gap in class was monstrous and McCloskey had no idea what to do or how to deal with Khan. That was a one sided beat down that was headed toward a KO or another 12-0 fight for Khan, so the guy essentially quit because of a cut. He had no answer for Amir Khans ridiculous handspeed and tremendous boxing skills. I think Khan could give Mayweather the toughest fight of his career and I think he could beat Manny Pacquiao. He may beat Bradley, but that might be because Bradley lacks the power to slow him down. Its okay saying Khan come through against Maidana, but another ref might of stopped that fight, and whilst Khan managed to survive, he still got hurt again, who's to say he doesn't get knocked down by a lesser puncher in his next fight with more skill, a fighter who puts more disguise on their punches? stuff like that happens, a guy can fight a big puncher, come through the fight, but get hurt by a lesser puncher if he manages to catch him right. Spectacular? The fact you said what you already said, now this, is vindication that you really are overrating him. Khan looked terrible against Maidana, he came through a balls to the wall fight to his credit, but his footwork, ring generalship was appalling. Khan was getting trapped on the ropes against a guy that wasn't even cutting the ring down, he was getting timed with right hands inbetween his combo's whilst he was unloading, he was shooting punches from out of range when the opponent was moving away from him, he got hurt, and against McCloskey, he was lunging with his punches, was fighting on nervous energy to.

Ortiz has a far superior chin to Khan and has consistently taken on bigger punchers in comparison. Berto does Khan in 2-3 rounds by knock out. then how did maidana floor and stop ortiz but couldn't do the same to khan?

I agree with everything but the bold. Berto has one of the hardest right hands I've seen. That punch is dynamite. If he were more well rounded he could have forced a stoppage. It was one punch that rocked Ortiz and had him back peddling for the rest of the 6th round. I think Berto is powerful, i'm pretty sure he could have knocked out any 6-10 WW with that punch. But if you noticed, he couldn't stop Collazo, he couldn't stop Forbes, he couldn't stop Urango. I am a big Berto supporter, but I think his power has it's limits. Ortiz punch resistance came from not cutting so much weight to make 140, his body grew out of the division... think Cotto. Ortiz will look even better in his next fight. I belive Ortiz would stop Berto if they rematched.

Khan took some of Maidana's shots and I would say Maidana is pretty close to Berto in power, but I don't think Maidana hits quite as hard as Berto. I don't see Berto landing many of those flush shots on Khan as Khan is the far, far, far more skilled fighter. I know most of you guys think I'm crazy but I think Khan is on an elite level - there is just a clear gap of class between he and his opposition. A Khan Berto fight would have looked a lot different than the Ortiz fight did, more of a boxing match... and I have Khan winning that fight as well. Berto would get stopped by Pacquiao. I agree on all points. Manny Pacquiao would absolutely destroy Andre Berto inside of 3 rounds.
