you lose fair & square..... now, you are no longer the GOAT......
that being said... props for always kept swinging, but It was a good stoppage....
now heres what u can do...
1- Get a Real Trainer... .come on... you know that alex caraballo is just a cheerleader in your corner.. dont make the same mistake that cotto did.. that waited 2 beatings before realizing this....
2- U have a good boxing technique.... I hope that Salido just made you a favor by reminding you that is good to USE IT AT SOME POINT...
3- :lol1: u know papito vazquez is "THROWING A PARTY" with this s*h* :lol1: next.. time... u want to degrade another boxer, make sure u win your next fight ;)
ps. papito said that hes happy having his chicken box meal as a paycheck now!

It's funny how you guys are barely finding this out. I've been saying this allllllll along. :D
I never EVER believed Juanma would have an easy night against Salido. Salido is those tough sob's you come across in boxing who usually don't win big fights, but are ALWAYS in it and manage to make their opponents look bad no matter what.
Juanma got careless, what I feared would happen...happened. Juanma got into a war of exchanges and he lost.
I wonder why great PR boxers often lose title fights at home?? Or is it just my impression? Wilfredo Gomez lost the FW title to Azumah at home, Wilfredo Vazquez lost the title to Cermeno at home, Edwin Rosario was koed by Jose Luis Ramirez at home and now Juanma gets the same fate...strange.
I had a different opinion before this fight. The signs were there, but I thought he would work to fix them. Right now he's the fighter we all saw on Saturday night, it was not a night off.
Well. To be fair here. I do think he came in very flat-footed even in the first round. Very sluggish. Did this guy have weight problem?

PS: JuanMa. Please check your peripheral vision with a non-horsey doctura. Do you look at only narrow angle punches from opponent? I see so many wide hooks and upper cuts landing on you it reminds me of B-52 bombing mission on the fields of Vietnam.. At least a Costco eye-doc ok?
He's not a BUM, but he's not elite either. He's just a strong, durable guy who got a bit lucky against Juanma. He simply is good at exploiting the weaknesses of top level guys like Gamboa and Juanma, but Yuriorkis wouldn't let him take advantage of that.:boxing: :biggthump
Salido lost a UD vs. Juan Manuel Márquez, winning at least 3 rounds. I don't think he got lucky against López.
I think we should accept López is not what many of us thought he was. And he hasn't been for many fights now.
So Salido is a bum?? What makes you think so?
Will you still say he's a bum when he steamrolls Juanma again in the rematch?
Buena pelea, paaappppa..
Sometimes it takes beating to bring the best out.
Juanma is gong to be fine, like someone else said he keeps dropping
that fuking left hand and keeps getting caught, it happened to him
in the Marquez fight. He needs a new trainer! A Roach or a Steward
would do it for me~!
PRPP :boxing:

He should really get another trainer, for he has been in too many life&death situations which he shouldn't have been in. He needs to improve on his defence and tactics. I believe this will only make him better, this defeat. Good luck Juanma and don't give up! I am looking forward to see you beat up this bum Salido in the rematch.:boxing:

LoL...... man!!! hopefully u do!! what a fu *** bad luck in the past few fights!! ...
Did you see caraballo whispering to juanma the instructions at the end of the 5th  I was... like.. this mother fu***cker... is afraid to be heard now??? when it count the most.. .HE START WHISPERING TO HIS ALMOST DEAD GUY??? ahhah what a puss y...
whats the name of the kid you are training?
Well I don't want to give his full name out because he still is only 17 but he just moved here from NJ and was golden gloves over there for his age group. The kid is really good and even got to spar with Cotto while Cotto was here in Ft. Lauderdale training for Mayorga.
He has all the tools, it's up to him how far he wants to go. He wants to turn pro in about 3 years.
I spar with him and rough him up, so he's used to sparring guys much bigger than him now.
Everything is going good man, I have a really good prospect in the gym. He's 8-0 now from NJ by way of PR. Good kid, fast hands and a really good athlete.
Don't worry, I'm teaching him how to defend the right hand so you won't have another JuanMa on your hands...lol
Just kidding.
