Well, I'm glad Ortiz proved us sceptics wrong. He DOES have what it takes to be a champion. And a p4p king even, perhaps. Berto really looked like he had been thrown off his game. I don't think HE was bad, but it was Ortiz that was so good.

What a fight!!! I think manny steward just came towards the end of the 6th round lol, this fight brought out the man in Ortiz, and the defeat against maidana paid dividends in the end for him because he was able to learn from the experience of that fight.

Wow great fight, Ortiz look like a different animal in there, Berto look like a beaten man from the 10th round till the end, Even his corner/family knew he lost the fight.

man, i really like ortiz's style. his skill set was always the real deal. u mix that with the heart of a mexican fighter, and u get a championship level boxer. it's a shame he wasn't in this mindset against Maidana.....the reality is that a guy like Ortiz should not lose to a guy like Maidana. Ortiz has the higher skill level and arguably more power. What surprised me in this fight is Vic's stamina. He was bouncing around and moving like it was rd 1 in the 10th, 11th and 12 th rds.
