They always have an excuse when they lose a fight...seriously it's either an "injury" or "I got robbed by the judges" or "he fights dirty" yo!! just accept defeat mah' nigg. Look at Morales, he's using every excuse in the book as to why he lost to Maidana, just man up dude.
:bottle:
Everybody that loses comes up with excuses, you never hear anyone say, "Man I got schooled in that ring tonight, I just don't belong up here with the big boys.."
Honestly, this isn't something that is exclusive to Mexican fighters.
Devon Alexander recently tried to say that he thought he won the fight but it was the headbutts. James Kirkland blamed the referee. Wladimir Klitschko claimed to feel poisoned, if I remember correctly. Ivan Calderon blamed it on not being able to run for his preparation.
All different walks of life. Different nationalities and races. Just what competitors do. You almost want them to stop. But their passion for winning is so strong that if they admit they can be fairly beaten, it could be the end of them. They want to win that bad.
I enjoy that passion, so I have to put up with these flimsy excuses.

Kirkland is not Mexican and he made a lot of excuses after he lost.
Pacquiao is not Mexican and he made like a thousand excuses after Morales schooled him.
Mexican fighters are loved because of their pride, ferocity and stubbornness. I think that kind of reaction goes hand in hand.
Its a hell of a lot better than...
"I'm not making excuses or taking anything away from him, he's a great champion, buuuuuuuuuuuuut............"
Excuses always get made in boxing, I have seen fighters from all kinds of backgrounds do that shit.
As a fan it can be hard to listen to because there is very little personal accountability, but if a guy doesn't really recognize what happened that pretty much explains exactly why they lost.
^^and that's a puerto rican guy saying that...
any fighter that has confidence and pride in himself will make a bit of an excuse most likely...and especially if it's right after the fight, not just mexicanos...and in morales' case, it was a close fight with a kind of dirty fighter.
