I just noticed something, do you even realize that Mosley hasn't knocked anybody out in 4 rounds or less since september 1997, with the exception of two guys in the 3rd. that is 14 years ago.
so, in his last 32 fights he has had:
two KOs in round 3 (at 147)
one KO in round 4 (at 135) in 1997
two KOs in round 5 (at 135) in 1998
Is this the guy who has a great chance in the early rounds..?
;10364087']Actually I don't see that at all. Mosley only loses confidence in himself when he gets out boxed. When he's in a fight his confidence grows within the later rounds. That's gonna be a problem with Pacquiao because by then he'll most likely be tired. Mosley has some decent body work, way better than Margarito and we all saw what Margarito did to Pacquiao in the later rounds.
I'm not saying Mosley is gonna win, far from it, but what I am saying if Mosley wants to hurt Manny and possibly go for the knockout, it's gonna be in the later rounds for sure. That's IF he doesn't get overwhelmed.
yeah, the only chance i give him is to land a clean shot from hell and knock Pac out cold. (I seriously doubt this will happen)

Look like complete sh1t? Manny at the Margarito fight was him at his worst in years, and Margarito had a lot of pounds on him, so I'm not holding it against Pac.
Manny doesn't get tired in the later rounds. Mosley will likely be the one to.
Agree with all that's been said. After 3-4 rounds of taking shots Shane will get those shaky hands like he's contemplating throwing a shot but he will stop getting any shots off............and just shake.
I've said from the start - Mosley has only a chance in the first 6 rounds - after that he is toast. Pacquiao will likely overwhelm Mosley once he hits the 7'th and batter him. Mosley needs the KO early and needs to hurt Pacquiao EARLY.

I pointed this out months ago when Freddie first said it, I remember being called a moron and that I know nothing about Mosley or boxing. I found it funny.
I need to play FNC again. Hit me up, KirbyLikesTacos.

It's more like, thats his only chance. Hurting him early and stopping him.
Becuase the longer the fight goes, the harder it's going to get for Shane.
So it's not "Shane has a good chance to end the fight early". He doesn't.
But it's "If Shane has any chance at all, it's landing a big shot and miraculously ending it early" But its highly unlikely this happens either.
Not that he would have to but you think Paqcuiao
could take that same amount of punishment?
whos the biggest puncher he's been with so far?
thanks. hope you mean it
StigX69 is my user
Yeah, how much of a chance do you give him?
its going 12 rounds...i have no prediction outside of that
I said this weeks ago. Mosley hasn't knocked out anyone in their prime in years except punching bag Margarito. He isn't a knockout puncher at 147, his record proves it. He had to pound on Margarito for half the fight to knock him out, nevertheless a good knockout.
ah, if you made a thread i must have missed it.
but yeah, i agree. it was a good knockout but for his murderous KO power he shouldnt have to use 170 punches to do it, right?
great analysis :tapedshut
whats your name on fight night champion :boxing:
man its gonna be like the day JFK got killed if
Shane bangs this dude out.
Pacquiao doesn't have fans he has worshipers.
