I know 24/7 gets alot of hate on here, but come on now, it's way better then this.
Fight Camp 360 Super Six is alright, but I think the first episode of Mosley/Pac was poor.
Thoughts?
Nonsense. It was excellent. A perfect introduction for the casual fans.
The 24/7 formula was run into the ground. Every episode was the same and the narration speeches were constantly repeated. 24/7 barely even shows fight footage and doesn't put fights into sporting context, it became bland reality tv. This was much better.
Better editing and pacing. I can do without the 'as young men speech' which was used at least twice on 24/7.
I just watched this, and I tend to agree. I don't understand what the complaining is about. They painted the perfect picture for the casual fan: Manny is on top of the world and the onus is on Shane to prove that he belongs. While Manny is cheesing with Obama, Shane is relegated to interviews with ESPN C listers. What a way to make a Hall Of Famer hungrier for a big win, right? I look forward to next weekend's show.

This was "the hype" episode but they didn't do much, IMO, to build it up from the jump. Hopefully the next few episodes will be more exciting but this isn't even in the same category as the 24/7 series'.
Very very poorly put together special. Why should we care who wins?
FC360 Super Six was a lot better than 24/7, but 24/7 is waaaayyy better than this.
Youre doing it wrong, Showtime
I actually enjoyed it, it was refreshing. 24/7 was like a soap opera it was overly dramatic especially the recent ones have been very poor. 24/7 does have a great narrator though and great montages and awesome endings.
No narration, no direction, incoherent. No Stories. Bad attempt at imitating 24/7 music. I thought they would go the route of reintroducing Pacquiao and Mosley to the casual boxing fan. How could they when theres no ****ing narration. 24/7 producers and writers are THE BEST in the INDUSTRY. They've won Emmys for there shizz. Huge loss =(
You know these shows are only aimed at casual fans right? I wouldnt expect any big fans of boxing to give a sh*t about these shows because we will watch the fight regardless...
I always think that 24/7 has a way better production quality, just the great narration, and choice of background music is a big difference. But with this 360, I like it only because it's a fresh style for the typical Pacquiao 24/7, so minus the narration and the bg music, we're left with the actual fighters creating their own dialogue. So I like it only because it's a fresh look at what we already know about Manny & Shane.
But it can't beat HBO's 24/7's production value - I always loved how they end each episode with a nice soundtrack.
The only good bit i thought was when the Crowd were asking questions.
I miss the 24/7 narrator.. He made the hype brilliant.
Ans 24/7 has brilliant music to put in background. 360 is just plain, simple and dull.
I like Super 6 360's but 24/7 always was my favorite.
Yeah, that was kind of funny.
EXACTLY what I thought. That guy is great. And like you said, they have great music and beautiful videography too.
It felt too much like an advert for the PPV also IMO. Hopefully the next 3 episodes will be better.
