The fact that this was being asked is just asinine. Mayweather and it's not even remotely close.

Obviously Mayweather. Floyd started ascending in weight to chase bigger challenges when he was 24, 25 and has competed in no fewer than five weight classes, capturing titles in each. Calzaghe stayed within the comfortable confines of 168lbs, feasting on chumps in his own backyard, for years; when he finally did move up it was for fights with fading forces, B-Hop and Roy Jones. This isn't even debatable.

Remind me who Joe cal has fought other them Kessler. Erm, BH in America springs instantly to mind. More of a risk than Floyd has ever taken or will ever take. Joe Calzaghe is better. And its of paramount of importance that Floyd reads that people think JOe is better than him. Maybe he will get his ass moving.

Lol at people saying Calzaghe becuase he took more risks...are you forgetting that he decided against fighting Pavlik and took the easier fight in Roy Jones......now whatever you think of Pavlik...at the time that was the fight people wanted to see...but instead he chose to fight Roy..... They both should have taken more risks....... Actually pavlik refused an offer to fight Calzaghe after the Lacy fight.

not a good showing from the brits. i cant stand the mayweather character but he is a better boxer then anyone going or who has been going for th last decade. even then pacfarts know that. floyd might be a little b*tch but skill wise, he is the truth. It depends on totally what style you like..We all no Mayweather is goona be one of the greats but up to the point of the Mosley fight I never liked his style..Running around..I must admit the finishing punch on Hatton was out of this world.. That's one thing Calzaghe certainly has over Mayweather, he beat Bernard Hopkins in his own backyard with a corrupt ref in another country 3,000 miles from home. In a manner not dissimilar to one Andre Ward, Floyd has never fought outside the US with all the advantages that come along with being the home fighter.

Mayweather will end up higher in the boxing rankings. JC retired without fighting a meaningful fight.

Like most things on this site its subjective but both are undefeated so who is better in your opinion? Subjective shmubjective...Floyd and it's not even close. To suggest otherwise is the purest of folly and (out of respect for your culture) I mean that in the English (understated) sense.
