All of a sudden A spadafora fight is a good gesture by Floyd to feed a broke fighter, and floyd needs another tuneup. So all the floyd fans look the other way just because its floyd. When does it all end? Naw, see, you don't get it. Floyd is doing the world a favor by taking time out of his busy life to bless us with an appearance in the ring. We should be thankful that Floyd is going to lace up his gloves regardless of who stands in front of him. Its just buisness man. The budget for Manny - Clottey or JMM - Floyd is to big for regular HBO BAD, or showtime series so the only way to air that fight would be on PPV. The only time this wouldnt happen is if the fighter is willing to take a massive pay cut for their fight to be on regular tv, like Oscar - Forbes a couple years back.

Its called Capitalism. These fighters deserve a chance at a career high payday. They train hard and are away from their families and friends for months at a time. You can't box forever. Let them make as much money as they can from the sport and then bounce. They don't get a pension when they retire so quit trying to rob fighters from potential income. You heard it here first. Taking on a fighter who had never been ranked at 140 or 147 because he had never fought above 135 is a tune up. Don't start posting fight night weights or whatever. It was a mismatch. Plain and simple. It would be like Andre Ward fighting Andre Berto. If a fight is made with the purpose of there being an extremely low risk factor, then it is a tune up.
