Because one black guy doesn't love Oscar as much as you do means that all black people hate him? Please, enlighten me. Maybe Oscar just wasn't as great as you seem to think. He's certainly a great fighter, but to put him above Leonard is just crazy.

Not true, a longtime ago, I had a black co-worker and we were playing boxing video games and he always picks Oscar DeLaHoya. I didn't understand it at first coz there were so many black fighters to choose from, why Hoya? CURTIS COKES is the only black ex-fighter who I know said he likes Oscar. In fact, when asked he specifically said he enjoyed watching him of all the fighters in the 80's and 90's. Kudos to him for that.:notworthy

They resent Oscar because of how much press he gets and how he's not really that great of a fighter, but he gets the press because he looks like a matinee idol, as Lampley put it.
