It would have been done and over with if Juan Manuel wasn't such a moron.
Lets not forget, it was he who turned down the rematch back in 04 and waited 4 damn years to make the second fight happen.
At the time the second fight happened is when the third fight should have gone down.
So cut the crap with it being about Manny being afraid of Marquez or waiting for him to get old because the truth dictates that it was Marquez actions that led to a rematch happening four years later than it should have.
my thoughts excatly..
He didn't refuse, he said their business was done. He felt he won the first fight (and should have) and got the SD in the 2nd fight, why would he give another rematch especially when De La Hoya was knocking on his door?
its pointless now. yet again, pac doesnt take a fight when the opponent presents a challenge
funny b.c pacfarts will defend this fight at 47 but talked **** when JMM was 42 against MAYWEATHER
clowns
WTF, he fought JMM 2 times. How the **** you gonna avoid someone, when you've already fought them on more than one occasion?!?
Oh yea, and just like you flomos defended Floyd fighting JMM @ 146, you'll say Pac has no right fighting JMM @ 147 even though both men will probably be under 144 at weigh ins.
If we're keeping it real, the weight in which this fight takes place is where my concern lies.I'm not convinced 1 bit that Marquez is effective above 135.140 would be the highest he should go if this fight were to happen.Since Pacman is a tiny welterweight,he should have absolutely no problem meeting Marquez halfway somewhere inside jr welterweight. But I believe team Pacman isn't gonna fight lower than welterweight.
not sure i wanna see this fight over 140. marquez has slowed down a bit and at above 140 he is a totally different fighter.....so i gurss this fight will happend above 140.
It will defo happen IMO since JMM is going to be a free agent now so Arum will be pushing for this fight if Floyd dose'nt want it....it should have happened a few years back but it is what it is :boxing:
