do you need me to pull up some footage of journeymen?
that's what an average puncher looks like.
do you need me to pull up some footage of david haye?
that's what a power puncher looks like.
I'd like to see less rabbit punches, but I don't think there's any doubt he packs power in his overhand right. Not sure why he didn't stop Valuev after he had him hurt, though he did seem rather intimidated by him throughout the fight.
Certainly has above average power at HW though and probably top 5 in the division.
ARE YOU TUNNEY IN DISGUISE?
Whats the deal with this handle, can all mods use it or does it just get used by one person?
I only ever see really you posting in klitschko threads.
I posted my opinion, nothing more. I don't like double standards, that's what that post was. I could care less if W. Klitschko wins or loses. He's lost three times legitimately, he'll end up losing again, and I still won't care.
I post when I feel the need to express an opinion, not to rack up posts.
It totally made up for throwing the least amount of heavyweight punches ever in a title fight, especially since he didn't even put Valuev down.
Now that's something to be proud of. That and the Harrison fight make an amazing resume.
I seriously can't believe someone is praising a fighter for stunning another fighter after the worst performance in a heavyweight fight in ages. The mentality here is just amazing.

He rocked an iron chinned 300lb man with his weaker hand, yep his power is only average.

thats why he took the 12th round before opening up on valuev
he has michael spinks type power
you do know that haye injured his left elbow in the first round and broke a bone in his hand (2nd or 3rd round)
Power isnt measured by how often you throw big shots. That would be stamina and conditioning. All Haye needs is to make sure when he throws, he lands.
His his power it may only take one shot.
good point.
But we have a lot of four round bangers out there. I was impressed that Haye could shift the big man at the end of the fight.
I always think it shows world-class power.
It shows you can carry power through an entire championship fight.

Its not when u throw punches, its what happens when u do.
Did Spinks wait till the 12th before opening up on Holmes?
